Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari tidak terlaksananya asesmen kecakapan personal safety di sekolah yang dikarenakan oleh tidak tersedianya instrumen asesmen tersebut, sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian mengenai penyusunan instrumen asesmen kecakapan personal safety anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang pelaksanaan asesmen kecakapan personal safety di SLBN 2 Centra PK-PLK Kota Cimahi, SLB Sukagalih, dan SLB Pancaran Iman, memperoleh instrumen asesmen kecakapan personal safety anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan, serta memperoleh data mengenai uji coba instrumen asesmen kecakapan personal safety anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development, sehingga penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan, yakni penelitian pendahuluan dan pengembangan instrumen. Pada penelitian pendahuluan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara terhadap tiga orang guru kelas, sedangkan pada tahap pengembangan instrumen teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara menghitung skor validitas yang diberikan oleh tiga orang ahli dan menghitung skor reliabilitas berdasarkan skor hasil uji coba instrumen asesmen kecakapan personal safety terhadap 10 orang anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba dan uji reliabilitas, didapatkan hasil bahwa instrumen asesmen kecakapan personal safety anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,93 dan terbilang sangat tinggi sehingga layak digunakan oleh guru untuk mengungkap kemampuan, hambatan dan kebutuhan anak sebagai dasar dalam perancangan pembelajaran kecakapan personal safety anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan. ABSTRACT The unimplemented of personal safety assesment in school that caused by the unavailability of personal safety skills assesment instruments became the background of this research. Because of that, researcher did a research about the arrangement of personal safety skills assesment instruments for children with intellectual disability. The purpose of this research are to collect data about the implementation of personal safety skills assesment for children with intellectual disability at SLBN 2 Centra PK-PLK Kota Cimahi, SLB Sukagalih, dan SLB Pancaran Iman, to acquire assesment instruments of personal safety skills for children with intellectual disability, and to collect data about the trial of the assesment instruments of personal safety skills for chilren with intellectual disability. The method of this research is Research and Development, so the procedure was separated into two stages, the first one is preliminary research and the second one is instruments development. In the preliminary research, the data collection that have been used was interview with three class teachers, while at the development stage the data collection that have been used was questionnaire. Analysis of the research data was done by calculating the validity score given by three experts and calculating the reliability score based on the results of the instrument’s trial by assesing 10 children with intellectual disability in the three location of the research. Based on the results of the trials and reliability testing, the results show that the reliability score for personal safety skills assesment instruments for children with intellectual disability is very high, that is 0,93 so the instruments is suitable for use by the teacher for discovering the ability, barrier, and the children needs for the base of personal safety skill’s learning plan for children with intellectual disability.
