Abstract

ABSTRAK Beberapa penelitian telah dilakukan namun secara umum, dan tidak fokus pada satu jurusan yaitu program keahlian elektro. Dikarenakan masih umum, maka di dalam penelitian ini akan terfokus pada program keahlian elektro. Diambilnya jurusan ini karena riset yang lain masih belum menyentuh kesiapan kerja di DUDI yang mengambil jurusan tersebut. Tampak terjadi kesenjangan penelitian selama ini yang belum membahas secara mendalam mengenai program keahlian elektro yang pada kenyataannya sangat dibutuhkan di lapangan, oleh sebab itu penelitian ini akan membahas hasil riset di lapangan yang berhubungan dengan kompetensi, motivasi kerja, sarana pembelajaran dan pengalaman praktek kerja industri/prakerin di program keahlian elektro. Riset ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui mengapa dan bagaimana meningkatkan kesiapan kerja bagi calon lulusan SMK program keahlian elektro sehingga para guru yang mengampu pada jurusannya bisa segera merubah metode dalam proses pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro dalam menghadapi era globalisasi di provinsi Jawa Barat, (2) pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK program keahlian elektro dalam menghadapi era globalisasi di provinsi Jawa Barat, (3) pengaruh pengalaman prakerin terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK program keahlian elektro dalam menghadapi era globalisasi di provinsi Jawa Barat, (4) pengaruh sarana pembelajaran terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK program keahlian elektro dalam menghadapi era globalisasi di provinsi Jawa Barat, (5) pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi kerja,pengalaman prakerin dan sarana pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro dalam menghadapi era globalisasi di provinsi Jawa Barat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Program Keahlian Elektro di provinsi Jawa Barat dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 604 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner atau angket. Uji coba instrumen penelitian dilakukan terhadap peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sebanyak 60 peserta didik dari kelas XII Program Keahlian Elektronika Industri. Pengujian prasyaratan analisis meliputi uji linieritas dan uji multikolinieritas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi sederhana untuk hipotesis pertama, kedua, ketiga dan keempat serta analisis regresi ganda untuk hipotesis kelima. Penelitian lain dengan mengambil jurusan selain elektro memang berdampak sangat signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan di bidangnya. Namun dalam hal ini terdapat hasil yang terlihat dan baru tertampakan dalam temuan penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian nya adalah (1) kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro termasuk kriteria tinggi, variabel ini mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja, (2) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro termasuk kriteria tinggi, variabeli ini mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja, (3) pengalaman praktek kerja industri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro termasuk kategori tinggi, variabel ini mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja, (4) pengaruh sarana pembelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro termasuk kategori sedang, variabel ini mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja, (5) kompetensi, motivasi kerja, pengalaman prakerin dan sarana pembelajaran secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Elektro termasuk kategori sangat tinggi, Keempat variabel ini secara bersama- sama mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi, Motivasi Kerja, Praktek Kerja Industri, Sarana Pembelajaran, Kesiapan Kerja lulusan SMK. ABSTRACT Several studies have been carried out but in general, and not focused on one subject, namely electrical. Because it is still common, in this study it will focus on electrical subject. We took this subject because other research still did not touch the readiness to work at the business world and the industrial world who took this subject. There seems to be a research gap so far that has not discussed in depth about electrical subject, which in fact is needed in the field, therefore this study will discuss the results of research in the field relating to competence, work motivation, learning facilities and industrial work experience / internship in the electrical subject expertise program. This research was conducted to find out why and how to improve work readiness for prospective vocational graduates majoring in electro so that teachers who teach in their majors can immediately change methods in the learning process. This research aims to determine (1) the effect of competency on the work readiness graduates student of the Electrical Skills Program in facing the era of globalization in West Java province, (2) the effect of work motivation on vocational graduates' work readiness in electrical expertise programs in the face of globalization in West Java province, (3) the influence of the internship experience on the readiness of vocational graduates to work on electrical expertise programs in the face of the globalization era in West Java province, (4) the influence of learning facilities on vocational graduates work readiness in electrical expertise programs in facing the globalization era in West Java province, (5) influence competence, work motivation, internship experience and learning tools together towards the work readiness of graduates of the Electrical Skills Program in facing the era of globalization in the province of West Java. The population of this study were all students of the Vocational Electrical Skills Program in West Java province with a total sample of 604 students. Data collection uses a questionnaire or questionnaire method. The trial of the research instrument was carried out on vocational high school students as many as 60 students from grade XII Industrial Electronics Expertise Program. Prerequisite testing for analysis includes linearity tests and multicollinearity tests. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis technique for the first, second, third and fourth hypotheses and multiple regression analysis for the fifth hypothesis. Other research by taking subject other than electrical indeed has a very significant impact on graduates work readiness in their fields. But in this case there are results that are seen and newly displayed in the research findings that have been conducted. The results of the study are (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of vocational graduates in the Electrical Expertise Program including high criteria, this variable influences work readiness, (2) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on vocational graduates job readiness , these variables influence work readiness, (3) industrial work experience has a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of vocational graduates in the Electrical Expertise Program including the high category, this variable influences work readiness, (4) the influence of learning tools has a positive and significant effect on graduate work readiness The Electrical Expertise Program Vocational School is in the medium category, this variable influences work readiness, (5) competence, work motivation, experience of internship and learning facilities together have a positive and significant effect on work readiness of vocational graduates Electrical Skills Program including categories very high, these four variables together have an affect of work readiness.
