Abstract

ABSTRAK BAMBANG REDIANSYAH, 2019. “GEDUNG HERITAGE DI KOTA BANDUNG SEBAGAI GAGASAN UNTUK BERKARYA SENI LUKIS”. Departemen Pendidikan Seni Rupa Fakultas Pendidikan Seni dan Desain Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Kehadiran bangunan bersejarah sebagai artefak masa lalu untuk kota Bandung kini keberadaannya semakin tergoyahkan oleh waktu. Menanamkan cinta dan menghargai sejarah melalui lukisan sebagai suatu efektivitas saat ini. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah: bagaimana cara mengembangkan ide gedung heritage di kota Bandung ke dalam karya seni lukis dengan teknik sapuan kuas dan teknik tatah pada media kulit perkamen, serta bagaimana memvisualisasikan karya seni lukis gedung heritage di kota Bandung dengan menggunakan teknik sapuan kuas dan tatah pada media kulit perkamen. Metode dalam penciptaan lukisan ini dimulai dengan ide berkarya, kemudian melalui tahap kontemplasi, stimulasi dan proses penciptaan. Sementara proses penciptaan terdiri dari persiapan alat dan bahan, mengamati, foto objek bangunan, proses sketsa, dan berkarya seni lukis dengan proses pewarnaan menggunakan teknik sapuan kuas, setelah itu proses menatah objek lukisan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya, kemudian memasang kulit perkamen pada bingkai, proses finishing menggunakan pylox clear, dan penggunaan kulit perkamen ini menggunakan teknik sapuan kuas dan teknik tatah. Dari serangkaian proses yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan empat karya seni lukis dengan berbagai ukuran, karya pertama yang berjudul Bumi Siliwangi, karya kedua Savoy Homann, karya ketiga Gedung Sate, dan karya keempat De Majestic. Deskripsi visual dari karya ini telah disesuaikan dengan aturan penciptaan karya dengan sumber yang jelas dan objek arsitektur gedung heritage dalam rentang waktu konstruksi 1920-1955. Keempat karya seni lukis ini menggambarkan beberapa keadaan yang mewakili peristiwa atau kejadian pada masa kejayaan gedung heritage, baik di masa lalu atau sekarang. Kata kunci: Gedung Heritage, kota Bandung, Seni Lukis. ABSTRACT The presence of historic buildings as past artifacts for the city of Bandung is now increasingly shaken by time. Instill love and appreciate history through painting as current effectiveness. The formulation of the problem of this research is: how to develop the idea of heritage buildings in the city of Bandung into the art of painting with brush strokes and inlay techniques on perkamen skin media, and how to visualize heritage buildings in Bandung using brush stroke and inlay techniques on perkamen skin media. The method in creating this painting begins with the idea of creating, then through the stages of contemplation, stimulation and the process of creation. While the creation process consists of the preparation of tools and materials, observing, photographs of building objects, sketching processes, and creating art paintings with the coloring process using the brush stroke technique, after that the process of carving the painting objects that have been predetermined, then put the perkamen skin on the frame, the finishing process using pylox clear, and using the perkamen using brush stroke technique and inlay technique. From a series of processes that have been carried out produced four art paintings of various sizes, the first work entitled Bumi Siliwangi, the second work of Savoy Homann, the third work of Gedung Sate, and the fourth work of De Majestic. The visual description of this work has been adjusted to the rules of creation of works with clear sources and architectural objects of heritage buildings in the construction period of 1920-1955. These four works of art painting illustrate amount of situations that represent events or incident in the heyday of the heritage building, whether past or present.
