Abstract

Pemerintah Kota Bandung membangun kawasan Bandung Teknopolis di Bandung bagian timur dalam rangka mengurangi kepadatan penduduk pada pusat Kota Bandung serta sebagai strategi untuk mengembalikan kawasan Kota lama menjadi Kawasan Heritage. Pembangunan Bandung Teknopolis diprioritaskan dalam pembangunan kawasan perkantoran. Hal ini memacu meningkatnya angka pekerja di kawasan Gedebage. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan area yang dapat digunakan sebagai area rekreasi yang mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat Gedebage. Shopping mall dapat digunakan sebagai area rekreasi yang bersifat komersil, sehingga potensi lahan dapat dimanfaatkan seefisien mungkin. ..... The Government of Bandung city builds an area called Bandung Technopolis at the east side of Bandung to solve the over populated problem in the center of Bandung, and as a strategy to preserve Heritage Area in Bandung city. The main focus of Bandung Technopolis is to develop the Central Business District. This matter will improve the increase of employment number at Gedebage Area. There for, it will need an easy to reach area that could be used for a recreational area. Shopping Mall could be used as a commercial recreational area, which will utilize the land potential as efficiently as possible.
