Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) merupakan istilah lain untuk "Anak Luar Biasa" yang memiiliki kelainan khusus dengan karakteristik yang berbeda Salah satu ABK adalah anak tunagrahita, yaitu anak yang memiliki keterbatasan intelegensi atau memiliki kecerdasan di bawah rata-rata anak normal. ABK berhak mendapatkan pendidikan layak serta memiliki hak yang sama seperti anak yang tidak berkebutuhan khusus dalam hal pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode tari kreatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik siswa ABK tunagrahita. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan Quasi experiment design dengan teknik time series design tanpa pembanding. Data penelitian diambil dari 2 siswa tunagrahita sebagai sampel penelitian dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tekni observasi dan wawancara terstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan selama empat kali pre-test, empat kali treatment dan empat kali Post-test . Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode tari kreatif efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik siswa ABK. Hasil uji N-Gain, menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata N-Gain untuk elemen kepala adalah 76,3568 atau 76,36%, dengan nilai N-Gain score minimum 74,36% dan maksimum 80.00%. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain 76,29%, dengan nilai N-Gain score minimum 71,79% dan maksimal 77,50% Kata Kunci : Metode Tari Kreatif, Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), Kemampuan Motorik ------ Children with Special Needs (ABK) is another term for "Extraordinary Children" who have special disorders with different characteristics. One of the special needs is a mentally retarded child, a child who has limited intelligence or has intelligence below the average normal child. ABK has the right to get proper education and has the same rights as children who do not have special needs in terms of learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of creative dance methods in improving the motor skills of mentally retarded ABK students. This quantitative research uses Quasi experiment design with time series design techniques without comparison. The research data were taken from 2 mentally disabled students as a research sample with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using structured observation and interview techniques. Data analysis was carried out for four pre-tests, four treatments and four post-tests. The results of the N-Gain test show that the use of creative dance methods is effective to improve the motor skills of special needs students. N-Gain test results, showed that the average value of N-Gain for head elements was 76.3568 or 76.36%, with a minimum N-Gain score of 74.36% and a maximum of 80.00%.
