Abstract

Sulitnya siswa dalam mengingat dan memahami pembelajaran serta kurangnya ketertarikan terhadap materi unsur-unsur seni rupa menyebabkan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi tidak efektif. Kecenderungan anak-anak zaman sekarang yang lebih menyukai game berbasis teknologi, menjadi gagasan dibuatnya media pembelajaran game edukasi. Tujuan pencitaan ini adalah membuat game edukasi unsur-unsur seni rupa bagi siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya. Persiapan dalam membuat game edukasi ini terdiri dari tahap pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan kontemplasi. Prosedur penciptaan terdiri dari pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Tahap pra produksi, yaitu pengolahan ide, pembuatan flow chart, pembuatan story board, dan pembuatan konsep karakter. Tahap produksi, yaitu proses pembuatan desain asset, penentuan tata letak (layout), dan memprogram semua asset (programming). Tahap pasca produksi, yaitu proses exporting. Aplikasi yang digunakan untuk membuat game ini diantaranya Paint Tool Sai, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Ilustrator, Adobe After Effect dan Construct 2. Hasil dari skripsi penciptaan ini ialah pembuatan game edukasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi unsur-unsur seni rupa. Secara keseluruhan, game edukasi ini masih kurang maksimal, dimana proses observasi masih berdasarkan litertur bukan berdasarkan observasi langsung ke lapangan. Untuk kedepanya, bagi yang ingin mengembangkan pembuatan game edukasi ini diharapkan melakukan observasi langsung ke lapangan dan juga memiliki sumber primer tentang unsur-unsur seni rupa serta sumber yang dimiliki harus lebih dari satu. Kata Kunci: game edukasi, media pembelajaran, unsur-unsur seni rupa ------- The difficulty of students in remembering and understanding learning and the lack of interest in the material elements of fine art causes the process of teaching and learning activities to be ineffective. The tendency of children today who prefer technology-based games, is the idea of making educational game learning media. The purpose of this study is to make an educational game for elements of art for 10th class students in the subject of Cultural Arts. Preparation in making this educational game consisted of data collection stages in the form of literature studies, observation, documentation studies, and contemplation. The creation procedure consists of pre-production, production, and post-production. Pre-production stage, which is processing ideas, making flow charts, making story boards, and making character concepts. Production stage, namely the process of making asset design, determining the layout (layout), and programming all assets (programming). The post-production stage is the process of exporting. The applications used to make this game include Sai Paint Tool, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effect and Construct 2. The result of this creation thesis is the creation of educational games that can be used as learning media in the material elements of art. Overall, this educational game is still less than optimal, where the observation process is still based on literature rather than based on direct observation to the field. In the future, those who want to develop this educational game are expected to be able to make direct observations in the field and also have a primary source of senior art and sources that require more than one.
