Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kesehatan Perencanaan terhadap Mutu Sekolah di SMP se-Kota Cimahi”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan mutu pendidikan yang yang ditinjau dari isi yang tertuang dalam RPJMD Kota Cimahi tahun 2012-2017, yaitu belum optimalnya aksesibilitas serta kualitas pendidikan di Kota Cimahi, dan belum meratanya kualitas guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling dengan cara simple random sampling, dengan 140 responden yang terbagi ke dalam kepala sekolah, guru, komite, dan tata usaha pada 35 sekolah di SMP se-Kota Cimahi. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan dengan perhitungan WMS (Weight Means Score) menunjukkan rata-rata kecenderungan umum untuk variabel Kesehatan Perencanaan dan variabel Mutu Sekolah berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil uji koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan Variabel Y diperoleh skor sebesar 0,759 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel X dan variabel Y memiliki hubungan yang “kuat”. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukka bahwa variabel X berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Y dengan hasil uji determinasi yaitu variabel X memberikan pengaruh sebesar 57,7% terhadap variabel Y, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 42,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Selanjutnya adalah hasil uji regresi yang menunjukkan Ŷ = 12,024 + 0,759X yang bersifat signifikan dan linear, artinya bahwa kesehatan perencanaan akan meningkatkan mutu sekolah sebesar 0,759. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh kuat yang positif dan signifikan dari kesehatan perencanaan terhadap mutu sekolah di SMP se-Kota Cimahi.;--This thesis is entitled "The Influence of Health Planning towards School Quality of Junior High Schools in Cimahi City". This research is motivated by the existence of educational quality problems which are reviewed from contents that contained in RPJMD Cimahi City during 2012-2017, there has not been an optimal access and quality of education in Cimahi City, and uneven quality of teacher in delivering material. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this research is probability sampling by simple random sampling, with 140 respondents divided into principals, teachers, committees, and administration in 35 Junior High Schools in Cimahi City. Based on data processing performed with WMS (Weight Means Score) calculation shows that the average general trend for Health Planning variables and School Quality variables are in very high category. The result of correlation coefficient test between variable X and variable Y obtained score equal to 0,759 indicating that variable X and variable Y have “strong” relationship. The result of significance test shows that the variable X has positive and significant effect on the variable Y with the result of the determination test that is the variable X gives the effect of 57,7% to variable Y, while the rest equal to 42,3% influenced by other factor. Furthermore, the result of regression test shows that Ŷ = 12,024 + 0,759X which is significant and linear, meaning that health planning will improve school quality equal to 0,759. The conclusion of this research is that there is positive and significant strong influence from health planning towards the quality of junior high schools in Cimahi City.
