Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pertanyaan prapembelajaran terhadap tingkat perkembangan aktual siswa pada materi koloid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian berupa pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 63 orang yang mengikuti pretest dan posttest serta membaca secara tuntas materi koloid di rumah, terdiri atas 36 siswa di kelas eksperimen (membaca menggunakan pertanyaan prapembelajaran) dan 27 siswa di kelas kontrol (membaca tanpa pertanyaan prapembelajaran). Instrumen utama yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah butir soal, yang terdiri dari soal pretest, soal posttest, dan pertanyaan prapembelajaran. Data tes yang diperoleh diolah secara statistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Versi 24 for Windows. Hasil penelitian dan uji statistik data pretest menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan awal yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian dan uji statistik data posttest menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat perkembangan aktual yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Selain itu, hasil uji statistik terhadap nilai gain ternormalisasi juga menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peningkatan tingkat perkembangan aktual siswa kelas eksperimen (N = 0,77) yang termasuk kriteria peningkatan tinggi dan kelas kontrol (N = 0,53) yang termasuk kriteria peningkatan sedang. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa penggunaan pertanyaan prapembelajaran dapat meningkatkan tingkat perkembangan aktual siswa.;--The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of pre-teaching questions on the students' actual development level in colloid chapter. The research method used was quasi-experimental research, with the research design is pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 63 people who took the pretest, posttest and thoroughly read colloid chapter at home, consisting of 36 students in the experimental class (reading using pre-teaching questions) and 27 students in the control class (reading without pre-teaching questions). The main instrument used in this study is the test questions, which consists of pretest questions, posttest questions, and pre-teaching questions. The test data obtained were processed statistically using the SPSS Version 24 for Windows application. The results of the research and statistical tests of pretest data showed that there was no significant difference in initial knowledge between the control and experimental classes. The results of the research and statistical tests of the posttest data showed that there were significant differences in actual development level between the control and experimental classes. In addition, the results of statistical tests on normalized gain values also showed that there was a significant difference between the increase in the actual level of development of experimental class students (N = 0.77) which included the criteria for height increase and control class (N = 0.53) which included the criteria for moderate increase. This shows that the use of pre-teaching questions can increase the students' actual development level.
