Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media pembelajaran FluidSim-P terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan perancangan sistem kontrol pneumatik single actuator. FluidSim-P merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran simulasi berbentuk software komputer yang berfungsi untuk merancang dan mensimulasikan sirkuit diagram pneumatik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-experimental dengan jenis one-group pretest-posttest design. Data pretest didapatkan sebelum sampel diberikan treatment untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal dalam materi perancangan sistem kontrol pneumatik single actuator. Sedangkan data posttest didapatkan setelah sampel diberikan treatment dengan media FluidSim-P untuk mengetahui hasil belajar sampel. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Strata-1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin yang berjumlah 95 orang yang mengontrak mata kuliah Pneumatik dan Hidrolik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran FluidSim-P memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi perancangan sistem kontrol pneumatik, dimana setelah uji hipotesis dengan statistik non parametrik teknik pengujian Wilcoxon dapat disimpulkan bahwa ditolaknya HO dan diterimanya HA.;--This research aims to know the effect of the application of learning media FluidSim-P on student learning outcomes in lectures on the design of a single actuator pneumatic control system. FluidSim-P is a simulation learning media in the form of computer software that functions to design and simulate a pneumatic circuit diagram. The research method used is pre-experimental with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. Pretest data were obtained before the sample was given treatment to determine the initial ability in the material design of a single actuator pneumatic control system. While the posttest data obtained after the sample was given treatment with FluidSim-P media to determine the learning outcomes of the sample. The population and sample in this study were 95 undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering Education who contracted Pneumatic and Hydraulic courses. The results of this study indicate that the FluidSim-P learning media has a significant influence on student learning outcomes in the design of pneumatic control systems, where after hypothesis testing with non-parametric statistics Wilcoxon testing techniques can be concluded that the rejection of HO and acceptance of HA.
