Abstract
Setiap anak berhak mendapatkan perhatian terlebih anak yang sedang menderita sakit kanker. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan biblioterapi dalam mengembangkan sikap sabar anak penderita kanker dalam program Sekolah-Ku yang ada di Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI) Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta studi dokumentasi. Penelitian bertempat di Rumah Sakit dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. Subjek penelitian yakni dua orang anak penderita kanker dan tiga informan yakni seorang guru yang aktif menjadi pengajar di Sekolah-Ku dan dua orang ibu dari anak penderita kanker. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tahapan pelaksanaan biblioterapi yang dilakukan di Sekolah-ku belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan. Biblioterapi memberikan dampak positif bagi anak penderita kanker. Biblioterapi bermanfaat untuk menghilangkan kebosanan saat anak menjalankan pengobatan dan perawatan serta sebagai proses edukasi tentang penyakit kanker yang dideritanya. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan manfaat terkhusus kepada guru dan praktisi BK dalam bidang keilmuannya.;Every child has the right to get attention, especially children who are suffering from cancer. The study aims to determine the impact of the application of bibliotherapy in developing patient attitudes of cancer patients in My School program at the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation (YKAKI) Bandung. Research using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research took place at the dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. The research subjects were two children with cancer and three informants namely a teacher who was active as a teacher in My School and two mothers of children with cancer. The results showed that the stages of bibliotherapy carried out in my school had not been fully implemented. Bibliotherapy has a positive impact on children with cancer. Bibliotherapy is useful for relieving boredom when children undergo treatment and care as well as an educational process about the cancer they suffer. This research is expected to provide specific benefits to BK teachers and practitioners in their scientific fields.
