Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sangat pesat dalam berbagai bidang menuntut semua industri yang ada di Indonesia untuk dapat mengikutinya, tidak terkecuali pada bidang pariwisata yang ada di Kota Bandung. Pariwisata berbasis teknologi informasi dikenal sebagai e-tourism. Permasalahan e-tourism di Kota Bandung adalah belum optimalnya informasi yang diberikan pada website pariwisata, juga belum terintegrasinya website-website pariwisata dengan sistem informasi komponen lain dalam industri pariwisata. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan pariwisata berbasis teknologi informasi di Kota Bandung dan bagaimana pemanfaatan semantic web untuk membantu memecahkan permasalahan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif pada pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi adalah seluruh informasi tentang Kota Bandung. Sampel yang di ambil adalah jumlah wisatawan Kota Bandung sebagai analisis wisatawan. Pengembangan teknologi semantic web pada e-tourism di Kota Bandung dapat menjadi solusi masalah pada e-tourism yang ada di Kota Bandung. Dengan langkah awal membuat suatu ontology pariwisata, sebagai dasar dari sistem informasi yang akan dikembangkan. Kemudian agar sistem informasi dapat terintegrasi dengan baik satu sama lain, diperlukan OWL (Web Ontology Language) sebagai bahasa pemograman yang dapat dimengerti oleh user maupun sistem, sehingga memungkinkan interoperabilitas dan integrasi antar sistem informasi pariwisata di Kota Bandung dapat terwujud. Kata kunci: Pengembangan, E-Tourism, Semantic-Web Rapid growth of information technology in various fields demanding all industries in Indonesia to be able to follow it, not least tourism industry in the city of Bandung. Tourism-based information technology known as e-tourism. The Problems of e-tourism in Bandung is lack of information on the tourism website, also the tourism websites has not been integrated with other components of systems information within the tourism industry. This study examines the development of information technology-based tourism in the city of Bandung, and how to use semantic web to help solve existing problems. Method applied is descriptive in a qualitative approach. Population is all the information about the city of Bandung. Samples are taken is the number of tourists in the city of Bandung as tourists analysis. Developing of semantic web technologies in e-tourism of Bandung City can be a solution to the problem that exist in e-tourism. First step is to make tourism ontology, as the basis of the information system to be developed. System Information can be integrated with one another, by developing an OWL (Web Ontology Language) ontology for e-tourism. With OWL as programming language that can be understood by the user and machine-understandable, thus enabling interoperability and integration between systems information in Bandung tourism can be realized.
