Abstract

Program Adiwiyata merupakan suatu usaha untuk membentuk karakter warga sekolah yang bertanggungjawab dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembinaan sekolah adiwiyata mandiri terhadap sekolah binaannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan Model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pembinaan Adiwiyata yang dilakukan oleh SMAN 3 Cirebon terhadap sekolah binaan secara keseluruhan berjalan cukup baik; 2) Setelah dilakukan pembinaan, tidak semua sekolah binaan Adiwiyata SMAN 3 Cirebon menerapkan program Adiwiyata; dan 3) Faktor utama yang menyebabkan sekolah binaan SMAN 3 Cirebon tidak mempertahankan program Adiwiyata yaitu karena peran kepemimpinan yang kurang mendukung dan kurangnya komitmen warrga sekolah. Kata Kunci : Pembinaan, Program Adiwiyata. ------ Adiwiyata program is an effort to shape the character of responsible school members in an attempt of environmental preservation. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Adiwiyata Mandiri School fostering the Imbas School. The qualitative approach was used as a method in the form of a descriptive study. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. Qualitative descriptive analysis technique was used to analyze the data using a phenomenological interactive model from Miles and Huberman which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that: 1) The formation of Adiwiyata conducted by SMAN 3 Cirebon to imbas schools as a whole went quite well; 2) After coaching, not all Adiwiyata imbas schools of SMAN 3 Cirebon implementing Adiwiyata programs; and 3) The main factor that caused the SMAN 3 Cirebon imbas schools not to maintain the Adiwiyata program was the lack of support from the leadership role and the lack of commitment of the school's citizens.
