Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan kaidah kebahasaan teks eksplanasi dan keinginan siswa memperoleh fleksibilitas waktu menulis merupakan hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, model pembelajaran induktif berbantuan web dalam penelitian ini dirancang untuk membekali siswa pengetahuan struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan tanpa mengenyampingkan keluwesan siswa dalam menulis. Model pembelajaran induktif diimplementasikan dalam kelas tatap muka, sedangkan web digunakan sebagai pemertahanan atas /pengetahuan yang didapat pada kelas tatap muka sekaligus sebagai wadah fase menulis, merevisi hingga mengedit tulisan. Dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran induktif berbantuan web ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan produk 4-D. Dari hasil pengembangan dengan model 4-D tersebut, diperoleh kenaikan nilai dari prates ke pascates pada setiap tahap uji coba lapangan melalui analisis nilai rata-rata dan uji perbedaan secara statistik. Tahap uji coba lapangan yang dimaksud yakni uji terbatas, uji luas, dan uji produk yang dilakukan dengan pelibatan sembilan kelas yang terdiri atas dua sekolah menengah atas dan dua sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri maupun swasta di Kota Bandung. Kelayakan produk ini juga didukung dengan hasil analisis nilai proses siswa, hasil analisis aktivitas guru dan siswa, tulisan siswa serta angket respons terhadap pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan melalui analisis kualitatif. Setelah uji kelayakan tersebut diperoleh produk akhir yakni desain pembelajaran model induktif berbantuan web dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di pendidikan menengah yang dimuat dalam bentuk buku desain sebagai yang mencakup rasionalisasi pengembangan dan hal yang melatarbelaknginya dan desain pembelajaran yang disertai pedoman pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran induktif berbantuan web, pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi, pendidikan menengah. ABSTRACT This background of this research is the students’ low ability in using the rule of language in text, specifically in explanation text. The empiric studies showed that most of the students request for a high flexibility time in writing process. Therefore, the web-assisted inductive learning model in this research was designed to give the students the knowledge of structure and language rule in explanation text without ignoring the students’ flexibility in writing. Inductive learning model was implemented in face-to-face class, while the web was used as retention towards knowledge in face-to-face class at a time also being used as a storage of writing, revising and editing phase. In this web-assisted inductive learning model, researcher use the research and development method with 4-D product development model. From the result of the fourth development of 4-D stages, it showed the increased grade from pre-test to pasca-test in every field try out steps through the analysis of average, and product assessment that been done by participating the nine classes that consist of two high schools and two vocational schools both private and public school in Bandung city. The product properness is also supported by the result analysis of students process grade, result analysis of teacher and students’ activity, students’ writing and the questionnaire of learning respond that have been done through qualitative analysis. After the feasibility test the final product is obtained, the web-based inductive model of learning design in learning of write explanatory texts in secondary education contained in the form of design books as covering rationalization of development and the background and learning design accompanied by guidelines for the implementation of learning.
