Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang penerapan model Collaborative problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan attitude toward physics siswa MA pada materi listrik dinamis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive atau judgmental sampling dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII MIA di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandung pada tahun pelajaran 2017/2018, dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 29 siswa dan kelas XII MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 29 siswa yang diambil dengan cara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kuesioner sikap, dan lembar observasi untuk keterlaksanaan model Collaborative problem solving. Untuk menentukan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dilakukan perhitungan rata-rata N-gain, sedangkan untuk menggambarkan attitude toward physics siswa dilakukan dengan cara menghitung kuantitas siswa yang memberikan tanggapan pada setiap pertanyaan yang tercakup dalam kuesioner sikap. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran model Collaborative problem solving secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran problem solving. Attitude toward physics siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model Collaborative problem solving lebih meningkat dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran problem solving. Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model Collaborative problem solving lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran problem solving, dan peningkatan kuantitas siswa menyatakan penyelesaian masalah pengalaman, hubungan dengan dunia nyata, usaha, dan ketertarikan pribadi terhadap fisika lebih tinggi di kelas yang diterapkan model Collaborative problem solving, dibandingkan dengan peningkatan kuantitas siswa di kelas yang diterapkan model problem solving. This study aims to get an overview of the application of Collaborative problem solving model to improve problem solving skills and attitude toward physics MA students on dynamic electrical materials. The research method used in this research is Purposive or judgmental sampling with research design used is randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects in this study were all students of class XII MIA in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandung in the academic year 2017/2018, with the sample of the study were the students of class XII MIA 4 as the experimental class with the number of 29 students and class XII MIA 3 as the control class with the number 29 students are taken by purposive sampling. Data collection was done by using problem solving test, attitude questionnaire, and observation sheet for the implementation of Collaborative problem solving model. To determine the problem-solving capability, the average N-gain calculation is performed, whereas to describe the student's attitude toward physics is done by calculating the quantity of students who respond to each question covered in the attitude questionnaire. The results showed that learning model of Collaborative problem solving significantly increased problem solving ability compared with problem solving learning. Attitude toward physics students who get learning model of Collaborative problem solving more increase compared with students who get problem solving learning. It was concluded that the improvement of problem solving ability among students who received learning with Collaborative problem solving model was higher compared with problem solving learning, and the increase in the quantity of students stated that the problem solving of experience, relationship with the real world, business, and personal interest toward physics was higher in the class applied model of Collaborative problem solving, compared with an increase in the quantity of students in the class that applied the problem solving model Keywords : Model of Collaborative Problem Solving, Problem Solving ability, Attitude Toward Physics.
