Abstract

ABSTRAK KAJIAN NILAI BUDAYA TERHADAP SERI NOVEL ANAK KARYA OKKY MADASARI SERTA PEMANFAATAANNYA SEBAGAI BUKU PENGAYAAN PENGETAHUAN Tanzilia Nur Fajriati NIM 1707158 Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya bacaan anak yang beredar dalam masyarakat, terutama cerita anak untuk tahap usia remaja. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hal berikut: (1) struktur novel anak; (2) representasi sosial-budaya; (3) nilai-nilai budaya; dan (4) bentuk pemanfaatan kajian nilai budaya dalam cerita anak. Untuk dapat mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan penelitian secara kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi yang fokus utamanya tertuju pada isi pesan dalam sebuah karya sastra. Analisis dan pembahasan data dilakukan berdasarkan teori kajian nilai budaya serta sastra anak. Temuan-temuan yang dihasilkan melalui kajian ini di antaranya (1) struktur novel dengan pengaluran linear dan karakter utamanya seorang gadis kecil berusia 12 tahun; (2) terdapat 4 aspek yang merepresentasikan sosial-budaya seperti aspek sosial, aspek ekonomi, aspek moral, dan aspek kultural; (3) adanya lima hakikat nilai-nilai budaya yang terdiri dari hakikat hidup manusia, hakikat karya manusia, hakikat waktu manusia, hakikat alam manusia, dan hakikat hubungan manusia. Kelima nilai budaya tersebut mengandung nilai religius, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, rasa ingin tahu, gemar membaca, cinta tanah air, kreatif, kerja keras, orientasi ke masa depan, orientasi ke masa lalu, rasa peduli dan ingin menjaga lingkungan skitar, komunikatif, cinta damai, dan toleransi; dan (4) buku pengayaan pengetahuan telah disusun dengan memanfaatkan hasil kajian dalam kedua seri novel anak tersebut. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa cerita anak tidak sekadar menghadirkan hiburan dengan cerita fantasinya tetapi juga menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam penanaman wawasan multikultural. Kata kunci: sastra anak, nilai budaya, buku pengayaan ABSTRACT STUDY OF CULTURAL VALUES OF CHILDREN’S NOVELS BY OKKY MADASARI AND ITS UTILIZATION BOOK AS ENRICHMENT OF KNOWLEDGE Tanzilia Nur Fajriati NIM 1707158 This research was motivated by the lack of children reading books circulating in the community, especially children's story to the stage of adolescence. Based on the above research aims to describe the following: (1) the novel structure of the child; (2) socio-cultural representation; (3) cultural values; and (4) the form of utilization of cultural value study in children's literature. To achieve these objectives the research conducted qualitatively by content analysis method which focus mainly on the content of the message in a literary work. Analysis and discussion of the data is based on the theory of the study of cultural values as well as children's literature. The findings produced by this study which (1) the structure of the novel with a linear pengaluran and its main character a young girl of 12 years; (2) there are four aspects that represent the socio-cultural aspects such as social, economic, moral aspects and cultural aspects; (3) the nature of the five cultural values consisting of the nature of human life, the nature of the work of man, the nature of human time, the nature of human nature, and the nature of human relationships. Fifth cultural values it contains a religious value, disciplined, responsible, curiosity, love reading, love of the homeland, creative, hard work, future orientation, orientation to the past, a sense of caring and wanting to keep the environment skitar, communicative, love peace and tolerance; and (4) the enrichment of knowledge book has been compiled based on the results of the study in the second series of the children's novel. From this research it was found that the children's story not only bring entertainment to fantasy stories but also become one of the alternatives in the planting of a multicultural insights.
