Abstract

Semakin tinggi adversity quotient mereka, semakin tinggi pula kemampuan berpikir logisnya. Teachers should have good teaching skills to make their students better in thinking. Based on questionaire that we gave to some teachers, there are a few teachers who do not understand concepts so they do not teach their students properly. Sometimes, they make student remembering the concepts rather than understanding the concepts. Therefore, to prevent that problem, teachers should have a good strategy for the learning process. Logical thinking skills can help them for making good strategies. Furthermore, also adversity quotient have a role to influence logical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to see how adversity quotient of prospective primary school teachers, how logical thinking skills based on adversity quotient categories of prospective primary school teachers, and what connection between logical thinking skills and adversity quotient. In order to do so, qualitative descriptive method was used. The subjects are 40 prospective primary school teachers of one university in Cimahi City. The result shows that, prospective primary school teachers are mostly in camper category of adversity quotient, their logical thinking skills follows their adversity quotient, when they are in high category of adversity quotient, they have a good logical thinking too, and vice versa. There is a connection between adversity quotient and logical thinking skills.
