Abstract
Kondisi kehidupan moral kaum remaja saat ini semakin mengkhawatirkan, yaitu kurangnya pembinaan karakter, maka dibutuhkan suatu pembinaan kebajikan kewarganegaraan (civic virtue). Pendidikan Karakter Bandung Masagi diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan dengan memberikan bekal awal pada anak untuk menghadapi suatu permasalahan. Pendidikan Karakter Bandung Masagi sendiri merupakan model pendidikan karakter sesuai pandangan hidup budaya Sunda yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai filosofi kearifan lokal, yaitu silih asih, silih asah, silih asuh, silih wawangi. Dengan alasan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pembinaan kebajikan kewarganegaraan (civic virtue) melalui program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi di SMP Negeri 25 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan medote studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Temuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) Perencanaan program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi sudah terencana dengan baik; (2) Pembinaan kebajikan kewarganegaraan (civic virtue) di SMP Negeri 25 Bandung melalui pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi relatif baik; (3) Program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi berkontribusi dalam membina kebajikan kewarganegaraan (civic virtue) di SMP Negeri 25 Bandung; (4) Kurangnya kerja sama menjadi faktor utama kendala dalam pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi di SMP Negeri 25 Bandung; (5) Perbaikan pola kerja sama sebagai upaya mengatasi kendala tersebut dalam program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi di SMP Negeri 25 Bandung. ..... The moral life condition of adolescents today is increasingly worrisome, that is the lack of character building, it needs a civic virtue coaching. Character Education Bandung Masagi expected to answer the problem by providing early provision to the child to face a problem. Character Education Bandung Masagi itself is a model of character education according to the view of life of Sundanese culture based on the values of the philosophy of local wisdom, namely silih asih, silih asah, silih asuh, wawangi penance. For this reason, this research is conducted to know the civic virtue development through the character education program of Bandung Masagi in SMP Negeri 25 Bandung. This research uses qualitative and meditative approach of case study. Data collection was done by interview, observation, documentation study, and literature study. The findings in this research are 1) The planning of character education program of Bandung Masagi has been well planned; (2) Development of civic virtue in SMP Negeri 25 Bandung through the implementation of character education program of Bandung Masagi relatively well; (3) Bandung Masagi character education program contributes to civic virtue in SMP Negeri 25 Bandung; (4) Lack of cooperation becomes the main factor constraint in the implementation of character education program Bandung Masagi in SMP Negeri 25 Bandung; (5) Improving the pattern of cooperation as an effort to overcome these obstacles in the character education program Bandung Masagi in SMP Negeri 25 Bandung.
