Abstract

Besarnya tuntutan dari lingkungan dan beban akademik yang harus ditanggung dalam menjalani perkuliahan oleh mahasiswa dapat menyebabkan permasalahan dan kesulitan dalam menjalani perkuliahan. Permasalahan akan berpengaruh terhadap kondisi fisik maupun psikologis yang akan berhubungan dengan psychological well-being mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menguji bimbingan kelompok wellness untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being pada mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperiment non equivalent pre test – post test control group design. Inventori penelitian yang digunakan diadaptasi dari Ryff dan Singer. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah 2017 sebanyak 14 orang dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bimbingan kelompok wellness efektif meningkatkan psychological well-being mahasiswa, Rekomendasi ditujukan kepada konselor perguruan tinggi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia agar dapat mengimplementasikan bimbingan wellness dengan pengembangan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik mahasiswa. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan agar dapat mengembangkan kajian terbaru mengenai wellness dan psychological well-being secara komprehensif berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini.-- Many demands of academic activity for students is difficulity for the college life. It has can be impacted for physical and psychological conditions that will be associated with psychological well-being students. The purpose of this research is to examine the guidance of wellness-based group to improve psychological well-being among the students. This research based quantitative approach with quasi experiment non equivalent pre test design - post test control group design and the instrument was adapted from Ryff and Singer. The population is students of Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah 2017 and 14 students as sample with purposive sampling. The results show that wellness group guidance has a significant influence to improve the psychological well-being of students, with the highest dimensional gain on positive relationship with others and the lowest on the autonomy dimension. The recommendations are addressed to counselors of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in order to implement wellness guidance on campus with developments to the needs and characteristics of the students. Subsequent research is expected to be able to develop a recent study of wellness and psychological well-being comprehensively based on the findings of this study.
