Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengujicobakan model ARIAS melalui pembelajaran tematik seni untuk meningkatkan karakter siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan memberikan nilai-nilai moral yang positif kepada siswa melalui model ARIAS yang diimplementasikan dengan pembelajaran tematik seni dapat memberikan nilai-nilai karakter seperti percaya diri dan minat siswa dalam belajar. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu paradigma kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pre-experimental design one group pre-test post-test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada paradigma kuantitatif yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa melalui model ARIAS melalui pembelajaran tematik seni berhasil meningkatkan karakter siswa dengan pencapaian 75% karakter percaya diri dan 75% karakter minat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan ada peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat mengembangkan kembali model ARIAS dalam pembelajaran tematik seni dengan indikator pencapaian hasil pembelajaran yang berbeda.-- The study aims to pilot the ARIAS model through artistic thematic learning to improve the character of elementary school students. By providing positive moral values to the students through ARIAS model that is implemented with thematic artistic learning can provide character values such as self-confidence and students’ interest in learning. The paradigm used in this study is the quantitative paradigm. The method used is pre-experimental design one group pre-test post-test. Data collection techniques used in the quantitative paradigm are interviews, observation, documentation and tests. The result of this study proves that through the ARIAS model that is implemented with thematic artistic learning has succeeded in improving the character of students with 75% achievement of self-confidence characters and 75% of interest characters. The results of this study are expected to have further researchers to be able to redevelop the ARIAS model in thematic art learning with indicators of achievement of different learning outcomes.
