Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan siswa dalam kemampuan menulis. Hal itu disebabkan oleh keterampilan menulis adalah keterampilan yang paling sulit di antara keterampilan berbahasa lainnya. Permasalahan menulis dalam penelitian ini adalah menulis teks cerpen. permasalahannya adalah kurangnya pengorganisasian ide serta gagasan siswa dalam menulis teks cerpen. Model sinektik berbasis ekokritik sastra menjadi salah satu solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut karena model sinektik membantu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sedangkan untuk ekokritik sastra mampu membangun sikap peduli terhadap lingkungan hidup. Model sinektik mengusung metafora serta analogi dalam pelaksanaannya. Ekokritik sastra yang berpijak terhadap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan yang dituangkan dalam bentuk karya sastra dapat menghasilkan karya yang kaya akan nilai seninya dan karya yang mengandung unsur kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain faktorial. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 70 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan sampel acak sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi dokumentasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes menulis teks cerpen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif (statistik deskriptif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran sinektik berbasis ekokritik sastra efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata prates dan pasca tes. Kata kunci: Model Sinektik, Ekokritik Sastra, Pembelajaran, Cerpen. ------ This research is grounded by students' problems in writing skills. It is due to the fact that writing skill is considered as the most difficult skill among other skills in language learning. The writing problem covered in this study was writing a short story text. The problem lies with in the lack of ideas organization and students' ideas in writing short stories. The ecocriticism literature-based synectic model is one of the solutions for these problems because the synectic model helps to improve student’s creativity while ecocritic literature enables the students to develop their environmental awareness. Synectic models conveys metaphors and analogies in its implementation. Ecocriticism which is grounded from the environmental awareness as outlined in the form of literary works could produce works that are rich in artistic value and works that containssome elements of environmental awareness. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental method (by using factorial design. The subjects involved in this study were 70 students, and they were chosen by using simple random sampling as the sampling techniques. The data were collected using documentation study techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and short story writing test. Quantitative analysis techniques (descriptive statistics) was applied to analyze the data. The results showed that the ecocriticism literature-based synectic model was effectively used in learning to write short stories. It can be seen from the increase in the average score of pre-test and post-test. Keywords: Synectic Model, Ecocriticism Literacy, Learning, Short Story
