Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan didasari oleh ketertarikan terhadap kreativitas siswa dan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dan 5E. Model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dan 5E merupakan pembelajaran yang mengeksplor kemampuan siswa terhadap lingkungan belajarnya. Lingkungan belajar menjadi salahsatu faktor yang mempengaruhi kreativitas siswa. Kreativitas setiap siswa berbeda-beda tetapi kreativitas dapat dikembangkan apabila siswa melakukan banyak aktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model learning cycle dengan langkah pembelajaran 7E dan 5E terhadap kreativitas siswa pada perubahan wujud benda. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada metode ini adalah non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD se-Kecamatan Suranenggala dengan menggunakan teknik sampel purposive sampling yang diperoleh sampel penelitian yaitu kelas V SDN 1 Purwawinangun, yang diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dan kelas B diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes dan non tes. Instrumen tes terdiri dari tes kreaivitas siswa, dan non tes terdiri dari aktivitas siswa, observasi perencanaan dan kinerja guru, catatan lapangan serta wawancara guru dan siswa. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, model learning cycle 7E dan 5E memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kreativitas siswa pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Dari hasil tersebut, antara model learning cycle 7E dan 5E yang lebih baik adalah model learning cycle 7E. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan 5E, Kreativitas, Perubahan Wujud Benda. The research conducted wad based on interest in student reativity and learning cycle models 7E and 5E. The learning cycle model of 7E and 5E is learning that explores student’s abilities to their learning environment. The learning environment is one of the factors that influence student creativity. Creativity of each student is different but creativity can be developed if students do many activities. The research have a purpose to knows the effect of learning cycle model of 7E and 5E. The type of research used in this method is non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was all elementary school students in the fifth grade in Suranenggala sub-district using purposive sampling technique which was obtained by the study sample is class V of SDN 1 Purwawinangun, which used as class A for learning cycle 7E models and class B for a learning cycle 5E models. Research conducted using test and non-test instruments. The test instrument consisted of student activity tests, and for non-tests consisted of student activity, planning observation and teacher performance, field notes and teacher and student interviews. The results of the research that the learning cycle models 7E and 5E have a positive and significant influence on students creativity in the material changes in objects. From these results, the learning cycle model 7E and 5E is better, namely the learning cycle model 7E. Keyword: Learning Cycle Models 7E and 5E, Creativity, Material Change Object.
