Abstract

ABSTRAK PROGRAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS APTITUDE TREATMENT INTERACTION (ATI) PADA PESERTA DIDIK BERKESULITAN BELAJAR DI SEKOLAH DASAR Elvi Nestia Dirga NIM. 1706940 Program Studi Pendidikan Khusus, Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh program pembelajaran yang diberikan guru kepada peserta didik masih menyamaratakan kemampuan seluruh peserta didik. Hasil observasi dan wawancara ditemukan bahwa adanya peserta didik yang berkesulitan belajar matematika operasi hitung pengurangan yang dilihat dari hasil asesmen matematika. Kondisi peserta didik tersebut belum dapat ditangani karena peserta didik berkesulitan belajar juga menghadapi persoalan lingkungan belajar yaitu cara mengajar atau pola interaksi yang diberikan oleh guru ketika proses pembelajaran di kelas yang mengakibatkan kondisi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran semakin buruk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan program pembelajaran matematika berbasis Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung pengurangan pada peserta didik berkesulitan belajar di sekolah dasar kelas III. ATI adalah model pembelajaran yang berisikan sejumlah perlakuan tertentu yang efektif digunakan untuk peserta didik sesuai dengan level kemampuan masing-masing peserta didik. Ketiadaan program pembelajaran matematika berbasis ATI menjadikan masalah tersebut belum dapat teratasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Program berisikan Silabus dan RPP yang telah mengakomodasi kebutuhan masing-masing peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Di dalam RPP terdapat simbol khusus yang bisa diterapkan oleh guru kepada peserta didik pada umumnya dan peserta didik berkesulitan belajar. Hasil uji keterlaksaan menunjukkan bahwa program dapat diterapkan oleh guru dan program dapat meningkatya nilai operasi hitung pengurangan peserta didik berkesulitan belajar dan guru mampu memberikan pola pembelajaran yang baik kepada peserta didik dalam memberikan motivasi belajar dan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri peserta didik. The results of observations and interviews found that there were students who had difficulty on learning mathematics especially for calculating subtraction operations. It was seen from the results of their mathematics assessment. Moreover, the condition of these students has not been dealt because the students also face the learning environment problems such as the teaching technique or the interaction patterns provided by the teacher while the learning process happened in the classroom. That situation also causes the learning conditions of the students getting worse. The purpose of this study was to develop a mathematics learning program based on Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) on improving the ability of students with learning disability at grade III of primary school to calculate subtraction operations. ATI is a learning model that contains a number of certain treatments that are effectively used for students according to their level of ability. The absence of the ATI-based mathematics learning program has made the problem cannot be overcome. This research was conducting by using Research and Development (R & D) with descriptive methods and qualitative approaches. The techniques of data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data was through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The program contained syllabus and lesson plans that have accommodated the needs of each student in learning. In the lesson plan, there was a special symbol that can be applied by the teacher to students in general and students with learning disability. The results of the implementation test show that the program can be implemented by the teacher and the program can increase the mark of the students with learning disability on calculating subtraction operations and the teacher is also able to provide a good learning pattern to the students in giving learning motivation and increasing students' self-confidence.
