Abstract
Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas V SDN 1 Bojong Lor Kecamatan Jamblang Kabupaten Cirebon pada materi letak geografis Indonesia. Siswa kurang memahami materi mengenai letak geografis Indonesia dan siswa merasa bosan dengan pembelajaran IPS yang dilakukan oleh guru. Maka dirancanglah sebuah pembelajarang dengan menggunakan media ular tangga PASI (Pengetahuan Anak Sosial Interaktif) untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Keempat komponen tersebut dilakukan tiga siklus yaitu siklus I, II, dan III. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi kinerja guru, soal evaluasi, catatan lapangan, angket, dan pedoman wawancara. Kemudian dilakukan validasi dengan menggunakan member check, triangulasi, dan expert opinion. Siklus I, persentase kinerja guru perencanaan 83%, pelaksanaan 81%, motivasi 71%, dan hasil belajar 48%. Siklus II persentase kinerja guru tahap perencanaan 93%, pelaksanaan 93%, motivasi 78%, dan hasil belajar 70%. Siklus III persentase kinerja 100%, pelaksanaan 100%, motivasi 86%, dan hasil belajar 87%. Dengan demikian penggunaan media ular tangga PASI dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: media ular tangga PASI, motivasi, dan hasil belajar The study was conducted based on the problems found in class V SDN 1 Bojong Lor, Jamblang District, Cirebon Regency, on the material geographical location of Indonesia. Students do not understand the material about the geographical location of Indonesia and students feel bored with social studies conducted by the teacher. So an author designed a snake ladder PASI media (Interactive Social Children's Knowledge) to solve the problem. This research is a classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart design which consists of four components, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The four components are carried out in three cycles, namely cycle I, II, and III. This study used an observation instrument for teacher performance, evaluation questions, field notes, questionnaires, and interview guidelines. Then validation is done by using member check, triangulation, and expert opinion. Cycle I, percentage of teacher planning performance 83%, implementation 81%, motivation 71%, and learning outcomes 48%. Cycle II percentage of teacher performance planning stage 93%, 93% implementation, motivation 78%, and learning outcomes 70%. Cycle III percentage of performance 100%, implementation 100%, motivation 86%, and learning outcomes 87%.
