Abstract
Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) adalah upaya untuk memberikan jaminan keselamatan dan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan pekerja dengan cara pencegahan kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi pada hasil wawancara dan observasi penulis saat praktek industri di Rumah Sakit Dustira pada bulan Januari-Februari tahun 2017. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat penulis menemukan masih terdapat beberapa pegawai yang tidak menerapkan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) seperti tidak memakai masker penutup mulut, memakai alat kaki yang licin, dan tidak memakai penutup kepala. Hal ini diperkuat oleh hasil wawancara penulis terhadap pegawai dapur Rumah Sakit Dustira mengenai alasan mereka tidak menerapkan SPO yang telah ditetapkan oleh Rumah Sakit Dustira. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja personal, lingkungan dapur, peralatan dapur dan perlengkapan keselamatan kerja serta mengetahui sikap mengenai keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja personal, peralatan dapur, dan lingkungan dapur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu pegawai dapur instalasi penunjang perawatan Rumah Sakit Dustira. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh sebanyak 38 orang. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen berupa tes untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan dan angket untuk mengukur sikap pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pengetahuan pegawai pada kriteria baik (62%) dan sikap pegawai terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja berada pada kriteria baik (74%). Rekomendasi pada penelitian ini perlu adanya upaya pelatihan untuk pembekalan pengetahuan serta sikap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja kepada pegawai. Pengetahuan dan sikap pegawai terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja perlu ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kinerja di Rumah Sakit Dustira Kata Kunci: dapur, instalasi penunjang perawatan Rumah Sakit Dustira, keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja Occupational Health and safety (K3) is an effort to provide safety assurance and improve the employees’ health standards by preventing occupational accidents and diseases. The research is based on the result of interview and observation conducted by the author during internship program at Dustira Hospital from January to February 2017. Based on the results, the authors found that there are some employees who do not apply the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), such as do not wear a mask to cover mouth, wearing slippery footwear, and do not wear headgear. The results are supported by the results of interviews towards the kitchen staffs of Dustira Hospital about their reasons for not applying the SOP that has been established by Dustira Hospital. The purpose of the research is to know the knowledge of occupational safety and health in personal, kitchen environment, kitchen equipment and safety equipment, and also to know their attitudes towards personal safety and health, kitchen equipment, and kitchen environment. Descriptive method with quantitative approach is used in this research. The population of this research is the employees in the kitchen installation of care maintenance of Dustira Hospital. Sampling method used is saturated sample of 38 people. Data collection techniques used the form of a test instrument to measure the level of knowledge and questionnaires used to measure employee attitudes. The results of the research show that the average of employees’ knowledge on good criteria (62%) and employee's attitude towards safety and health are in good criteria (74%). Recommendation in this research is that the existence of training effort to provide knowledge and attitude of occupational safety and health for the employees is needed. Employees' knowledge and attitude towards occupational safety and health need to be improved to enhance the quality of performance at Dustira Hospital.
