Abstract
ABSTRAK
Demensia merupakan suatu penyakit yang menyerang fungsi kognitif. Menurut data WHO (2015), jumlah total orang dengan demensia di seluruh dunia diperkirakan mencapai 47,5 juta dan sebanyak 1,2 juta jiwa diantaranya berada di indonesia. Berdasarkan data Dinas Kota Bandung (2018), menunjukan bahwa jumlah total orang dengan gangguan fungsi kognitif berjumlah 3.839 ribu orang. Keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam perawatan demensia karena memengaruhi terhadap status kesehatannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Dukungan Keluarga Pada Orang Dengan Demensia Di Wilayah Puskesmas Cibolerang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik total sampling terhadap 41 responden yang dominan merawat orang dengan demensia. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Dukungan keluarga berada dalam kategori dukungan baik 24 (58,5%) dan yang tidak baik sebesar 17 (41,5%). Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa dukungan yang diberikan kepada orang dengan demensia sudah cukup baik. Saran kepada lembaga kesehatan agar dapat mengoptimalkan edukasi mengenai demensia dan perawatannya kepada masyarakat.

ABSTRACT
Dementia is a disease that attacks cognitive function. According to WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION data (2015), the total number of people with dementia around the world is estimated at 47.5 million and as many as 1.2 million of them are in indonesia. According to the Office of the city of Bandung (2018), showed that the total number of people with impaired cognitive function amounted to 3,839 thousand people. The family has a very important role in the treatment of dementia because it affects to the status of his health. Based on the preliminary studies that have been carried out found that families have yet to figure out how to support the families that must be given to sufferers of dementia. The purpose of this research is to know the support of the family in people with Dementia in the area of public health Cibolerang. Design research is quantitative descriptive technique data retrieval using the technique of sampling a total of 41 against the dominant respondents care for people with dementia. The research results showed that family support is in the category of good support 24 (58.5%) but there is still no good support by 17 (41.5%), it indicates that the need for guidance related to family support in the family who has dementia sufferers. Advice to health agencies in order to optimize the education about dementia and her treatment to the community.
