Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya partisipasi pemuda dalam kegiatan sinematografi dengan tujuan akhir yaitu peningkatan life skills, kemudian pemberdayaan pemuda dijadikan aspek penelitian karena selain membahas partisipasi, pemberdayaan juga menjadi output kehiatan yang dilakukan pemuda di Sekewood. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis 1) pelaksanaan kegiatan sinematografi di Sekewood sebagai upaya peningkatan life skills pemuda 2) gambaran tingkat partisipasi pemuda dalam kegiatan sinematografi di Sekewood 3) proses pemberdayaan pemuda di Sekewood. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diambil dengan teknik wawancara, obeservasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber data. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama tiga bulan dengan lokasi di Karang Taruna RW 11 Kecamatan Cibeunying Kidul Kelurahan Cikutra. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 17 orang yaitu inisiator sekewood, ketua karang taruna, dan 15 pemuda yang menjadi kameramen dalam produksi film di sekewood. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa 1) Penggunaan teknik sinematografi seperti pengambilan gambar, pergerakan gambar hingga editing sudah dikuasai oleh pemuda sebagai bukti adanya peningkatan life skills 2) Partisipasi yang diberikan oleh pemuda berbentuk tenaga dan ide atau pemikiran. 3) Tujuan pemberdayaan pemuda berfokus pada perbaikan aspek pendidikan dan aspek perbaikan pendapatan, pendekatan pemberdayaan menggunakan prinsip partisipatif, dan strategi yang diggunakan menggunakan aras mikro, makro, dan mezzo. Kata kunci : Pemberdayaan Pemuda, Sinematografi, Life Skills. Research is stimulated by the participation of youth in the activities of the cinematography with the ultimate goal is an increase in life skills, then the empowerment of youth as aspects of research because in addition to discussing participation, empowerment is also range of acrivities by youth in Sekewood. The study aims to describe and analyze 1)implementation of the activities of the cinematography in Sekewood to life skills of youth 2)visions of the level of participation of youth in the activities of the cinematography in Sekewood 3)the youth empowerment in Sekewood. The study is using method of descriptive approach a qualitative. The data was taken with interview techniques of observation and study documentation. To test the validity of data carried out by triangulation of data. The study lasted fo three months with the youth RW 11 district Cibeuying Kidul the village Cikutra. The subject of research consist of 7 people, which is the initiator Sekewood, chairman of the youth and 15 youth who are the cameraman in film production in sekewood. The research found that 1) the use of techniques the cinematography as the shoot, the picture to editing had been nvaded by youths as evidence of an increase in life skills 2) participation by youth in the form of energy and ideas or thought 3) to youth empowerment focusing on improving aspects of education and aspects of the improvement of income, the approach of using the principle of participatory, and strategies used by border, micro, macro, and mezzo.
