Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan pendidik PAUD dalam meningkatkan kompetensinya, sebagai lembaga yang memiliki tugas PP-PAUD dan Dikmas Jawa Barat berkontribusi menyelenggarakan diklat melalui distance learning. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data mengenai: 1) pemaparan persiapan PP-PAUD Dikmas Jawa Barat dalam menyelenggarakan diklat dengan distance learning, 2) pemaparan pelaksanaan PP-PAUD Dikmas Jawa Barat dalam menyelenggarakan diklat dengan distance learning, 3) pemaparan hasil PP-PAUD Dikmas Jawa Barat dalam menyelenggarakan diklat dengan distance learning. Landasan teori dalam penelitian ini yaitu konsep kontribusi, konsep kompetensi, konsep pembelajaran jarak jauh, konsep pelatihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif, dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian berjumalh delapan orang yaitu terdiri dari satu penyelenggara, dua pengampu, dua fasilitator, 3 peserta diklat. Temuan penelitian yaitu aspek persiapan, pelaksanaan dan hasil PP-PAUD dan Dikmas Jawa Barat dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik PAUD melalui distance learning di Kota Bandung. Saran mencakup 1) penyelenggara adanya keterbukaan mengenai peserta yang diikut sertakan dalam uji kompetensi. 2) pengampu dalam mengolah nilai peserta nilai. 3) lembaga mitra dapat menyampaikan aspirasi, kritik dan saran agar elemen yang terlibat dapat menyatukan persepsi diklat yang diselenggarakan.;---This research was conducted based on the need of the early-childhood educators in enhancing their competencies. As an institution having an obligation to fulfill such the need, PP-PAUD Dikmas in West Java arranged a training through distance learning. This research aimed in obtaining some data relating to: (1) the preparation done by the West Java PP-PAUD Dikmas for the with-distance-learning training; (2) the implementation of the training; and (3) the result gained of arranging a training with distance learning. This study was informed by the concepts of contribution, competence, distance learning, and training. The research methodology used was qualitative by which interview, observation, and came as its research data collection techniques. There were eight participants in this training; an executor, two supervisors, two facilitators, and three participants of the training. The research results includes the preparation, implementation, and result aspects of PP-PAUD and Dikmas in West Java in enhancing the early-childhood educators’ competencies. Some suggestions provided are: (1) there must be a transparency regarding the involved participants in competence test; (2) the supervisors in analyzing the participants’ scores; and (3) the institution’s co-partners being able to provide some suggestions to reach a same perception hold by each element regarding the training.
