Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penyelenggaraan basic training yang memiliki tujuan agar pemuda mampu memiliki kesadaran akan tanggungjawab keumatan (berperan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat) dan kebangsaan serta memiliki kesadaran berorganisasi (aktif dalam kegiatan organisasi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penyelenggaraan basic training HMI pada komisariat PIPS UPI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dari hasil wawancara dan observasi, serta data sekunder yang berupa laporan dan dokumen resmi. Sedangkan teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan data yaitu 1) perencanaan basic training yang mencakup penentuan tujuan pelatihan, pembentukan panitia pelaksana, penyusunan proposal kegiatan, persiapan dana kegiatan, persiapan tenaga instruktur, perekrutan peserta pelatihan, dan persiapan pembukaan pelatihan 2) pelaksanaan basic training yang dimulai dari tes awal peserta pelatihan, proses pembelajaran, tes akhir dan hasil akhir seluruh peserta pelatihan dinyatakan lulus 3) evaluasi basic training yang mencakup evaluasi hasil belajar peserta pelatihan dan evaluasi program, evaluasi hasil belajar mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan piskomotorik sedangkan evaluasi program mencakup aspek pengelolaan. 4) faktor pendukung pelatihan yang meliputi adanya ketersediaan fasilitas yang memadai, adanya kerjasama yang baik antar penyelenggara serta faktor penghambat penyelenggaraan adalah ketidaksesuaian antara waktu pelaksanaan dengan yang sudah direncanakan dikarenakan ada hal diluar kendali.;--This research is motivated by the existence of basic training that has a purpose so that young people are able to have awareness of the responsibility of society (play a role in social life) and nationality and have organizational awareness (active in organizational activities). This study aims to determine the basic implementation process of HMI training in the PIPS UPI commissariat. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data sources used are primary data from interviews and observations, and secondary data in the form of official reports and documents. While the data validity checking technique uses source triangulation. The results of this study reveal data that is 1) basic training planning which includes the determination of training objectives, the formation of an executive committee, preparation of activity proposals, preparation of activity funds, preparation of instructor personnel, recruitment of trainees, and preparation for opening training 2) implementation of basic training starting from the test the beginning of the training participants, the learning process, the final test and the final results of all trainees declared pass 3) basic training evaluation which includes evaluation of learning outcomes of training participants and program evaluation, evaluation of learning outcomes covering cognitive, affective and piskomotorik aspects while program evaluation includes management aspects . 4) the supporting factors of training which include the availability of adequate facilities, the existence of good cooperation between the organizers and the inhibiting factors of the implementation are the discrepancies between the implementation time and those planned because there are things out of control.
