Abstract

Penelitian membahas mengenai kinerja pegawai yang belum optimal di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel yaitu budaya organisasi, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja pegawai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat budaya organisasi, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi, pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi, dan pengaruh budaya organisasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif verifikatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Responden penelitian ini adalah pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi golongan III sebanyak 91 responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan gambaran budaya organisasi berada pada kategori sangat kuat, gambaran disiplin kerja berada pada kategori rendah, dan gambaran kinerja pegawai berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara parsial dan siginifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan budaya organisasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi diharapkan memberikan pelatihan kepada pegawai yang sesuai dengan tugas yang diemban. Sehingga kualitas kerja di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi akan meningkat. ;---The research investigates the less than optimal performance of employees of Cimahi City Education Office. It consists of three variables, namely, organizational culture, work discipline, and employee performance. The research aims to find about the levels of organizational culture, work discipline, and employee performance. In addition, it intends to find about the influence of organizational culture on employees performance, the influence of work discipline on employee performance, and the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Office of Education of Cimahi City. The research employed descriptive and verificative method. Data were collected using the technique of Likert questionnaire. Respondents of this research were 91 third rank employees of Education Office of Cimahi City. Based on the analysis, it is found that the organizational culture was in the category of “very high”, work discipline in “low” category, and employee performance in “high” category. The result of hypothesis testing demonstrates that organizational culture partially and significantly influenced employee performance, and organizational culture and work discipline had simultaneous and significant influence on employee performance. Cimahi City Education Office is expected to provide training to employees in accordance with the task carried so that the work quality in the Education Office of Cimahi City will increase.
