Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan penalaran analogi dan generalisasi serta pencapaian disposisi matematis mahasiswa PGMI melalui concept attainment model berdasarkan keseluruhan dan kemampuan awal matematis (KAM) serta interaksi keduanya. Kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok eksperimen-kontrol ekuivalen ini melibatkan 54 orang mahasiswa semester II di salah satu Universitas Islam Negeri. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pretes-postes dan skala disposisi matematis. Analisis statitistik yang dilakukan adalah uji kolmogorov smirnov, uji levene, uji t, uji ANOVA dua jalur dan uji lanjut Scheffe. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah:(1) Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran analogi matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran concept attainment model lebih baik dibandingkan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran analogi matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan KAM; (2) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dan KAM terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran analogi matematis; (3) Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran generalisasi matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran concept attainment model lebih baik dibandingkan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran generalisasi matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional secara keseluruhan dan tidak lebih baik berdasarkan KAM.; (4) Terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dan KAM terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran generalisasi matematis; (5) Pencapaian disposisi matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran concept attainment model lebih baik dibandingkan pencapaian disposisi matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan KAM; (6) Terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dan KAM terhadap pencapaian disposisi matematis mahasiswa.;--This study aims to see the university students’ enhancement on mathematical analogical reasoning ability, mathematical generalization reasoning ability, and mathematical disposition through concept attainment model learning based on overall, Prior Mathematical Knowledge (PMK) and interaction between models of learning and PMK toward (i) mathematical analogical reasoning; (ii) mathematical generalization reasoning; (iii) mathematical disposition. Quasi experiments with the design of this experimental-controlled equivalent group involved 54 of second semester students at the one of State Islamic Universities. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Levene test, t-test, two-way ANOVA test were used to analyse the data. The results of this study are: (1) The students’ enhancement on mathematical analogical reasoning ability who worked under concept attainment model is better than those who worked under conventional learning viewed from the whole and based on the PMK; (2) There is no interaction between models of learning and PMK toward students’enhancement on mathematical analogical reasoning ability; (3) The students’ enhancement on mathematical generalization reasoning ability who worked under concept attainment model is better than those who worked under conventional learning model viewed from the whole; (4) There is interaction between models of learning and PMK toward students’ enhancement on mathematical generalization reasoning ability; (5) The students’ achievement on mathematical disposition who worked under concept attainment model is better than those who worked under conventional learning model viewed from the whole and based on the PMK; (6) There is interaction between models of learning and PMK toward students’achievement on mathematical disposition.
