Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan masalah yang berkaitan dengan keterampilan sosial anak pada kelas B1 RA PRIMA. Permasalahan tersebut adalah anak yang memiliki kecenderungan anak tidak mampu bersosialisasi dengan baik, cepat gelisah, mudah tersinggung, pili-pilih teman dan proses pembelajaran yang masih mengacu kepada lembar kerja anak. Dengan demikian upaya selanjutnya diperlukan stimulasi pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang keterampilan sosial, salah satunya melalui permainan bola kasti modifikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah permainan bola kasti modifikasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak pada kelas B1 RA PRIMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Kolaboratif antara guru kelas dan peneliti dengan lokasi penelitian di RA PRIMA dengan partisipan sebanyak 11 anak yang terdiri dari 6 anak perempuan dan 5 anak laki-laki. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh meningkat secara signifikan pada siklus II dengan perbaikan yang dihasilkan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan bola kasti modifikasi dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak sehingga penelitian dirasa cukup dan diberhentikan. Rekomendasi bagi penelitian berikutnya lebih memahami macam-macam permainan yang dapat menstimulasi keterampilan sosial anak, selain itu hal yang harus diperhatikan bagi peneliti adalah mengenai aspek perkembangan yang lain yang harus dipotimalkan dengan baik seperti aspek keterampilan moral dan agama, kognitif dan memunculkan gagasan yang kreatif serta inovatif.;---This research was conducted based on the findings of problems related to children's social skillS in B1 class of RA PRIMA kindergarten. These problems were about incapability of socializing with other students well, easily worried(anxious), irritable, picky when choosing friends, and learning process that still refers to children’s worksheet. Thus, as the next eforts, learning stimulation is required to support children’s social skills. One of them is through modified children baseball game. The purpose of this research is to know whether this modified children baseball game is able to improve the social skills of students in B1 class of RA PRIMA kindergarten. The research method used for this research is class action research Collaborative method was used between classroom teacher and researcher of this research, with research place located at RA PRIMA kindergarten, with participation of 11 children consisting of 6 girl students and 5 boy students respectively. Based on this research, the results obtained increased significantly in cycle 2. With these improvements it was concluded that this modified children baseball game can help improve the students social skills, therefore this experiment was considered sufficient and then dismissed. Recommendations for the next research to further understand the kinds of games that can stimulate children’s social skills. In addition, others things that needed to be noticed by the researcher is about other development aspects that need to be optimize properly such as moral skill and religious skill, cognitive and ability to generate creative and innovative ideas.
