Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada belum adanya program di childcare dengan fokus stimulasi untuk perkembangan kognitif. Program ini dibuat berbasis home-based childcare dengan pengembangan karakteristik menurut Barnados (2017) yaitu lingkungan childcare seperti di rumah, fleksibilitas untuk anak dan keluarga, hubungan yang terbina dan memperhatikan kebutuhan individu. Metode penelitian menggunakan Design Based Research (DBR) dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan penilaian ahli dalam dua kali tahapan penilaian. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 3 (tiga) orang, yaitu ahli pendidikan anak usia dini, ahli pendidikan keluarga dan praktisi childcare. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada penilaian tahap pertama program yang dirancang berada pada kategori layak dengan revisi pada komponen tujuan program, perencanaan kegiatan program, pengelolaan proses kegiatan dan laporan kegiatan program, selanjutnya pada penelitian tahap kedua menunjukkan bahwa program berada pada kategori sangat layak, sehingga program dapat digunakan di childcare untuk menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan kepada pengelola childcare, bahwa program home-based childcare yang sudah dibuat oleh peneliti dapat di implementasikan di childcare, serta bagi calon peneliti selanjutnya yaitu melakukan penelitian dengan mengembangkan aspek laporan kegiatan program berbasis digital. This research due to absence of a program in childcare with a focus stimulation for cognitive development. This Program is created Home-Based Childcare with the development of childcare characteristics by Barnados (2017) such as care in an environment that’s like home, flexibility for child and family, nurturing relationships and attention to individual needs. The research method was using Design Based Research (DBR) with data collection techniques using interviews and validation in two times judgment. Participants in the study were 3 (three) people, early childhood education experts, family education experts and childcare practitioners. The results represent that at first times judgment program was designed to be in decent category with revisions on program purpose, program activity planning, process management activities and program activity reports, futhermore in second times judgment indicates that the program is in very decent category, therefore the program can be used in childcare to stimulate for children cognitive development. The results recommend a childcare manager, that a home-based childcare program that has been created by researchers can be implemented in childcare, as well as for future researchers, conducting research by developing aspects of the digital-based program activities.
