Abstract

Visual Branding merupakan suatu pernyataan mengenai siapa (identitas), apa yang dilakukan (produk/jasa yang ditawarkan), dan mengenai kenapa suatu brand layak dipilih (keistimewaan) khususnya yang dapat dilihat oleh mata. Kabupaten Siak merupakan daerah kelahiran penulis, sehingga penulis memilih untuk mengembangkan daya tarik wisata melalui visual branding berdasarkan permasalahan. Event Siak International Serindit Boat Race adalah event pacu sampan berskala internasional yang diadakan untuk mengembangkan wisata Kabupaten Siak. Permasalahan yang diajukan dalam penciptaan ini yaitu: 1) Bagaimana konsep visual branding event? 2) Bagaimana visualisasi branding event? 3) Bagaimana analisis visual branding event?. Metode yang dilakukan adalah analisis permasalahan, pengumpulan data, brainstorming, proses desain, analisis dan implementasi. Hasil karya yang dibuat berupa soft file dan hasil cetak pada ukuran B5. Konsep yang dibuat yaitu berdasarkan nama event, elemen visual burung serindit, sampan, kecepatan dan tanjak. Secara proses desain menggabungkan elemen visual kemudian dijadikan sebagai logo yang bersifat dinamis, sederhana, modern dan aplikatif. Secara visual, desain visual branding menerapkan unsur dan prinsip desain dalam berkarya. Karya visual branding event sebagai kemasan visual dari event Siak International Serindit Boat Race.;--- Visual Branding is a statement about who (identity), what is done (product / service offered), and about why a brand deserves to be chosen (privileges) especially those that can be seen by the eye. Siak Regency is the birthplace of the author, so the authors chose to develop tourist attraction through visual branding based on problems. The Siak International Serindit Boat Race event is an international canoe race event held to develop tourism in Siak Regency. The problems raised in this creation are: 1) What is the concept of visual branding event? 2) How about event branding visualization? 3) What is a visual branding event analysis? The method used is problem analysis, data collection, brainstorming, process design, analysis and implementation. The work made in the form of soft files and printouts on size B5. The concepts made are based on the name of the event, the visual elements of serindit birds, canoes, speed and tanjak. In the design process combining visual elements is then used as a logo that is dynamic, simple, modern and applicable. Visually, visual branding design applies elements and principles of design in work. Visual branding event as a visual packaging for the Siak International Serindit Boat Race event.
