Abstract

PENGARUH LABELLING “SEKOLAH DISIPLIN” TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI IPS DI SMAN 4 BANDUNG Nissa Fauzia NIM. 1501737 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya berbagai macam labelling yang dibentuk dari masyarakat sekitar. Labelling tersebut bersifat negatif dan positif, tetapi dalam penelitian ini lebih terfokuskan pada labelling yang bersifat positif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ingin mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh labelling “sekolah disiplin” terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 4 Bandung. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas xi ips di SMAN 4 Bandung karena memang kelas XI IPS ini dilabel sebagai siswa yang kurang dalam sikap disiplinnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Labelling “sekolah disiplin” di SMAN 4 Bandung termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang yang artinya hampir seluruhnya siswa merasa terpengaruhi pada dirinya mengenai labelling “sekolah disiplin” yang didasarkan pada lima indikator diantaranya seperti peraturan,hukuman, penghargaan, konsistensi dan kebiasaan (2) tingkat prestasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi yang artinya hampir seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 4 Bandung ini memiliki prestasi yang tinggi dilihat dari hasil UAS semester ganjil tahun 2018/2019, (3) pengaruh labelling “sekolah disiplin” terhadap prestasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori interval tidak ada korelasi yang artinya tidak ada hubungan antara labelling “sekolah disiplin” dan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini disebabkan banyak hal lain yang bisa lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi prestasi belajar bukan hanya labelling “sekolah disiplin” saja. Namun halnya dari labelling “sekolah disiplin” ini memberikan nilai kepada para siswanya sehingga siswa membentuk sikap disiplin dalam kehidupannya. THE INFLUENCE OF LABELLING "SCHOOL DISCIPLINE" AGAINST THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTS OF STUDENTS OF CLASS XI IPS IN SMAN 4 BANDUNG By : Nissa Fauzia ABSTRACT The study was backed by the presence of a wide range of labelling that was formed from the surrounding communities. Such Labelling is both negative and positive, but in this study more focus on labelling that is positive. The purpose of the research is to want to know how big the influence of labelling "school discipline" against the learning achievements of students of Class XI IPS in SMAN 4 Bandung. The method in this research use descriptive method quantitative approach, with the techniques of data collection using the now closed. Populations and samples in this studygrade xi ips in SMAN 4 Bandung. The results of this study suggest that (1) the Labelling of "school discipline" at SMAN 4 Bandung is included in the category are which means nearly all students feel influenced on him concerning the labelling of "school discipline" based on five indicators include such rules, punishments, rewards, consistency and habits, (2) level the learning achievements of students are on a high category which means almost the entire grade XI IPS in SMAN 4 Bandung has a high achievement seen fromUAS results-year 2018/2019, (3) the influence of labelling "school discipline" against the learning achievements of students are on the category intervals of no correlation means that there is no connection between labelling "school discipline" student learning and achievement. This is due to a lot of other things that could be more dominant in affecting learning achievement not just labelling "school discipline" only. But the case of labelling "school discipline" it gives value to the students so that students form the attitude of discipline in his life.
