    Abstract

    Telah dilakukan penelitian skripsi yang berjudul “Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Melalui Praktikum Dalam Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E pada Materi Stoikiometri”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran stoikiometri melalui praktikum dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode pre-experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 28 orang siswa SMA Kelas X yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori kelompok, yaitu kelompok tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes tertulis, angket, pedoman wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Pencapaian hasil belajar siswa dihitung dengan rumus N-Gain. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran melalui praktikum dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E pada materi pokok stoikiometri dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa secara keseluruhan (N-Gain = 64,36%). Peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa tertinggi terjadi pada kategori siswa kelompok tinggi yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 69,64%. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada konsep mol (N-Gain = 71,47%) dan terendah terjadi pada konsep persamaan reaksi kimia (N-Gain = 32,14%). Hasil angket dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan tanggapan postif terhadap pembelajaran melalui praktikum dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E pada materi pokok stoikiometri dan siswa merasa termotivasi untuk belajar sehingga siswa lebih mudah memahami materi stoikiometri. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran dapat terlaksana dengan baik (87,78%).

    This research entitled "Improving Student Learning Outcomes Through High School Practicum In Learning Model Learning Cycle 7E on material stoichiometry". This study aimed to obtain information on the effect of stoichiometry through practical application of learning in the model Learning Cycle 7E on student learning outcomes. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Research subjects consisted of 28 high school students Class X are divided into three categories of groups, that are groups of high, medium, and low. The instrument used is a matter of a written test, questionnaire, interview, and observation sheets. Student achievement should be calculated with the formula N-Gain. Research results show that the application of learning through practice in the model Learning Cycle 7E in the subject matter stoichiometry can improve students' mastery of the concept as a whole (N-Gain = 64.36%). Increase students' mastery of concepts highest in the high category of student groups as indicated by the value of N-Gain of 69.64%. The highest increase occurred in the concept of moles (N-Gain = 71.47%) and lowest in the concept of the chemical reaction (N-Gain = 32.14%). Results of questionnaires and interviews showed that students gave positive responses towards learning through practice in the model Learning Cycle 7E in the subject matter and students feel motivated stoichiometry for learning so that students more easily understand the material stoichiometry. Observations indicate that the learning activities can be done well (87.78%).
