Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya proses pembiasaan dalam pembentukan karakter. Pembiasaan dalam pembentukan karakter dilaksanakan untuk membentuk kepribadian seseorang sehingga dapat menjadi suatu kebiasaan yang tertanam dalam dirinya. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji persepsi santri, gambaran karakter santri setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembiasaan dan pengaruh pembiasaan terhadap karakter santri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Mendeskripsikan persepsi santri terhadap pembiasaan berdasarkan indikator kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, kegiatan keteladanan, kegiatan pengkondisian dan kegiatan pemaksaan; Mendeskripsikan karakter santri berdasarkan dimensi karakter beragama, dimensi karakter pribadi dan dimensi karakter bermasyarakat dan berbangsa; Menganalisis pengaruh pembiasaan terhadap karakter santri di pondok pesantren Riyadlul Ulum Wadda’wah Tasikmalaya. Metode peneltian deskriptif melakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (kuisioner) dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sejumlah santri sebagai partisipan sebanyak 238 orang yang dikategorikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin,usia dan lama mondok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: Persepsi santri terhadap pembiasaan karakter adalah kuat. Artinya pembiasaan dapat diikuti dengan baik oleh santri, baik dari aspek kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, kegiatan keteladanan, kegiatan pengkondisian, dan kegiatan pemaksaan; Karakter santri setelah mengikuti pembiasaan di lihat dari tiga dimensi yang diteliti yaitu karakter beragama, karakter pribadi dan karakter bermasyarakat dan berbangsa mendapat nilai sangat baik; Pengujian hipotesi penelitian diperoleh hasil yang menunjukan bahwa Hₒ diterima dan Hᵢ ditolak yang berarti signifikan tapi tidak searah, dengan sumbangan pengaruh 2,6%. Artinya pembiasaan terhadap karakter memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap karakter santri di pondok pesantren Riyadlul Ulum Wadda’wah.;--- This research is motivated by the process of habituation in formation of character. Habituation in character formation is implemented to instill positive attitudes on santri through daily activities, so it can be a habit that is embedded in him. This research will examine the santri's perception, description of santri character after following the activity of habituation and the influence of habituation on the character of santri. The purpose of this study are: Describe the perception of students to habituation based on indicators of routine activities, spontaneous activity, exemplary activities, conditioning activities and coercion activities; Describe the character of santri based on religious character dimension, dimensions of personal character and dimension of social and national character; Analyzing the influence of habituation of santri character in islamic boarding school Riyadlul Ulum Wadda'wah Tasikmalaya. Descriptive research method to collect the data using questionnaires and study documentation. This research was conducted on a number of santri as a participant as many as 238 people categorized by gender, age and length of stay. The results of this study show that: The santri's perception of character habituation is strong. It means that the habituation can be followed well by santri, both from aspects of routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary activities, conditioning activities, and coercion activities; Santri characters after following the habituation seen from the three dimensions studied are religious characters, personal character and social character and nation gets very good grades; Testing the research hypothesis obtained results that show that Hₒ accepted and Hᵢ rejected which means significant, but not unidirectional with contribution of influence 2,9%. it means that the habituation of the character has not a positive influence on the character of santri at islamic boarding school Riyadlul Ulum Wadda'wah.
