Abstract

Gaya rambut merupakan hal yang penting bagi manusia, karena rambut memiliki banyak fungsi hingga peran yang mempengaruhi hidup seseorang. Gaya rambut tersebut memiliki peran sebagai penanda identitas seseorang dari mulai pembeda gender, pembeda status sosial dan lainnya. Namun yang terjadi sekarang kita justru cenderung kesulitan membedakan manusia dari rambutnya karena identitas mereka sudah mulai pudar, pembeda gender sudah mulai hilang dan itu terjadi karena rambut sudah dianggap tidak memiliki peranan yang penting lagi, meskipun kenyataannya tidak demikian. Dari uraian di atas, muncullah gagasan untuk membuat karya drawing dengan tema model rambut wanita dari tahun 1980-2016. Rumusan masalah yang terdapat dalam penciptaan ini adalah mengembangkan gagasan dalam pembuatan karya drawing dan visualisasi karya drawing tersebut, serta bagaimana mendeskripsikan karya dari segi visual dan konseptual. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik outline secara keseluruhan, arsir dan blok pada detail rambut. Karya sebagian besar menggunakan unsur garis lurus dan lengkung karena objek karya adalah berbagai macam model rambut yang pada dasarnya terdapat dua jenis rambut yaitu lurus dan keriting. Media yang digunakan adalah kayu pinus dengan membiarkan tekstur alami kayu terlihat untuk menambah kesan vintage. Kaidah unsur dan prinsip visual digunakan guna untuk menghasilkan hubungan antara karya drawing secara fisik dengan konsep dari gaya rambutnya itu sendiri. Penulis berharap karya ini mampu menjadi pengingat bahwa rambut memiliki peran yang besar dalam bermasyarakat sebagai identitas sosial seorang manusia, juga diharapkan karya ini dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar di sekolahsekolah, pengingat tren model rambut yang populer, juga memiliki manfaat lain bagi mereka yang mengapresiasinya.----------The trend of hairstyle is important for human, because hair has its own role in society. The role of the hairstyle can be a identity of human such a social status, gender etc. But today it is not used anymore, hairstyle hasn’t own the role anymore, we can’t difference the gender and social status from the hair anymore. This is happen because human doesn’t have any concern to the hairstyle anymore. From the description above comes an idea to make artworks using the hairstyle from 1080-2016 as its ideas. The problems contained in this work are developing the ideas of this drawing and the visualization of the works itself, how to analyze the artwork based on the concept and visual. The technique used is the overall outline technique, hatching and blocks on the detail of the hair. Works mostly using straight lines and curved because the object of the work is the variety of hairstyles that basically there are two types of hair that is straight and curly. The medium used is pine wood with a natural wood look texture allow to add to the impression of a vintage. The visual was made using the unsure and principle of art, so the ideas will have a correlation between the physical form and the concept of the hair itself. The writer hopes that this work will be able to remind people that hair style has an important role in social life, and the writer hopes that this work will be used as the alternative of learning materials in schools, a reminder of the popular hairstyle trends and it is hoped to give benefits for they who appreciated.
