Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Discovery Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Jaringan Dasar berbasis Multimedia, mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan model Discovery Learning berbasis Multimedia pada mata pelajaran jaringan dasar dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi (quasi experiment) dengan one-group pretest post test design. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran dengan model Discovery Learning pada aktivitas guru dan siswa sebesar 100%, 2) adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 59.75 dibandingkan dengan nilai pretest sebesar 39.19. Kemudian, dari hasil nilai rata-rata dilakukan uji gain dan diperoleh nilai gain sebesar 0.375 untuk kelas eksperimen, 3) Hasil angket respon siswa pada proses pembelajaran untuk pernyataan positif sebesar 93% dan untuk pernyataan negatif sebesar 7 %. Hal ini berarti proses pembelajaran yang berlansung mendapatkan respon yang baik dari siswa.;---This study aimed to find out the application of the Discovery Learning model on the Basic Multimedia-Based Network Subjects, to know the improvement of students’ learning outcomes with the multimedia-bassed Discovery Learning model on the basic network subjects and to know the students' responses to that learning. The method used quasi experiment with one-group pretest posttest design. The results of this research were: 1) the learning process implementation with Discovery Learning model on teacher and student activity was 100%; 2) there was an increase of experimental grade posttest score of 59.75 compared with pretest score of 39.19. From the result of the average score is done by gain test and obtained the score of gain of 0.375 for experimental class, 3) the result of questionnaire of students’ responses on learning process for positive statement equal to 93% and for negative statement equal to 7%. This means that the learning process got a good response from the students.
