Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah conspicuous consumption pada pengguna instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media sosial dan harga diri terhadap conspicuous consumption pada pengguna instagram member Hijabers Community Bandung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatorysurvey dengan teknik simple random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 95 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis linear bergandadengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 23.0.Hasil peneltian secara keseluruhan terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media sosial dan harga diri terhadap conspicuous consumption. ;---The problem in this research is conspicuous consumption in instagram user. This study aims to determine the effect of social media usage and self-esteem on conspicuous consumption in instagram user member’s of Hijabers Community Bandung. Type of research used is verified descriptive. The method conducted is explanatory survey with simple random sampling. The numbers of the respondent are 95 participants. The data analysis technique conducted in this research is multiple regression with SPSS 23.0 computer software. The result of the whole research is the influence of the use of social media and self-esteem to conspicuous consumption.
