Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kurangnya budaya membaca yang terjadi di kalangan siswa SMKN 2 Bandung, maka harus ada pendidikan yang mengarahkan mereka untuk dapat menjadikan siswa pembelajar sepanjang hayat baik yaitu melalui program gerakan literasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi, serta melakukan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan program gerakan literasi sekolah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewarganegraan siswa melalui mata pelajaran PPKn melalui kegiatan literasi, dan reading awards. (2) Nilai-nilai civic skill yang dikembangkan dalam program gerakan literasi sekolah yaitu keterampilan intelektual yang meliputi keterampilan mengidentifikasi, menggambarkan, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi. Serta keterampilan partisipasi yang meliputi keterampilan berinteraksi,meantau/memonitor, mempengaruhi. (3) Kendala yang ditemukan diantaranya sarana prasarana belum maksimal, keterbatasan pengetahuan siswa, mengubah keterampilan kewarganegaraan semua warga sekolah, sanksi kurang tegas. (4) Upaya yang dilakukan yaitu peningkatan peran guru, sosialisasi, membuat kebijakan dan sanksi yang tegas, siswa mencari informasi, pengoptimalan peran organisasi dan ekstrakurikuler, memotivasi siswa.. Program gerakan literasi sekolah ini menjadi wadah untuk mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai yang ingin dicapai pada setiap pembelajaran PPKn.;---The research was distributed by the problem of the lack of a culture of reading that occurs among the students of SMK N 2 Bandung, then there must be education that direct them to be lifelong learners students make good through movement program literacy school. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and approach. The technique of data collection by way of interviews, observation, documentation, and library studies. Technique of data analysis by reduction of data, data presentation, withdrawal and verification of conclusions, as well as perform data validity. The results showed that (1) the implementation of the literacy movement program school to improve the skills of the students through kewarganegraan subjects civics through literacy activities, and reading awards. (2) the values of civic skills developed in the program schools literacy movement i.e. the intellectual skills which include skills to identify, describe, analyze, and evaluate. The participation and skills include the skill interact, meantau/monitor, influence. (3) the constraints that are found include infrastructure has not been fullest knowledge limitations, students change the skills of citizenship all school, sanctions less assertive. (4) the efforts made, namely an increase in the role of teacher, socializing, making policy and strict sanctions, students search for information, extracurricular organizations and roles of optimisation, motivating the students. The literacy movement program this school into a container to apply the values to be achieved at each learning civics.
