Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi (TI) dengan sistem komputerisasi pada bidang pendidikan sekolah dewasa ini masih tertinggal, seperti pada kasus di SMK Pekerjaan Umum (PU) Bandung. Di instansi tersebut pengembangan sistem pembelajaran yang merupakan proses presensi siswa dan materi pelajaran yang di berikan kepada siswa masih menggunakan metode konvensional sehingga layanan yang diberikan masih lamban. Oleh karena itu, sistem pembelajaran sekolah perlu dikembangkan dengan sistem yang prosesnya lebih cepat dan mudah. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) adalah suatu pendekatan perancangan sistem yang berorientasi service dan memiliki sifat loose coupled yaitu tingkat ketergantungan antar aplikasi yang rendah. Loose coupled tersebut dapat digunakan ketika suatu aplikasi akan melakukan perubahan sehingga tidak harus semua aplikasi yang ada mengikuti perubahan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan sistem pembelajaran seperti presensi dan materi pelajaran dengan SOA, serta teknologi yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu web service karena menerapkan konsep loose coupled yang sesuai dengan pendekatan SOA. Keuntungan yang bisa di ambil oleh sekolah dari penerapan SOA untuk pengembangan sistem pembelajaran adalah waktu pengembangan yang lebih singkat dan fleksibel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan 3 buah service meliputi, service login dengan 2 method, service presensi dengan 8 method, serta service materi pelajaran dengan 6 method. lalu hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa service-service yang ada setelah dilakukan pengujian fitur berfungsi dengan baik. Dengan begitu penggunaan SOA dan web service dapat menghasilkan pelayanan khususnya presensi dan materi pelajaran di SMK PU Bandung. The development of information technology (it) with a computerized system in the field of school education today is still lagging behind, as in the case of public works. In the learning system development agencies are still using conventional methods so that the services provided to the students is still sluggish. Therefore, the learning of school systems need to be developed with the systems that process faster and easier. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is an approach to designing systems that service-oriented and possess loose coupled i.e. level of dependency between the applications. Loose coupled can be used when an application will make changes so it doesn't have to be all existing applications follow changes. The purpose of this research is to apply the learning systems such as presensi and granting the subject matter with SOA, as well as technologies that are in use in this study i.e. web service due to apply loose coupled with appropriate approach SOA. The advantage that could be taken by the school of application of SOA to the development of the learning system is a shorter development time and flexibility. The results of this research resulted in 3 service include, service log with 2 methods, service presensi with 8 method, as well as service subject matter with 6 method. then the test results show that service-service that exists after a testing feature to function properly. So the use of SOA and web services can generate a Ministry specifically presensi and subject matter in SMK PU Bandung.
