Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui berbedaan pengaruh antara latihan bench press dengan latihan resisten karet terhadap kemampuan power pukulan depan dalam cabang olahraga pencak silat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota Atlet B.6.C Tadjimalela kota Bandung dengan jumlah atlet yang bergabung aktif sebanyak 16 orang, sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 16 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah power strike machine. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan pendekatan statistik uji kesamaan dua rata-rata. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa nilai tabel distribusi t (10,11) > =(2,14) pada Latihan resisten karet dan nilai distribusi t (7,00) > =(2,14) pada Latihan bench press. Hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa Latihan bench press Dan Latihan resisten karet berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan power pukulan, namun Latihan resisten karet lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan Latihan bench press terhadap peningkatan kemampuan power pukulan. ---This study wanted to know the difference between bench press exercises and rubber resistant exercises on the ability of front-stroke power in the sport of pencak silat. The research method used is experimental method. The population in this study were members of Athletes B.6.C Tadjimalela Bandung with the number of athletes who joined active as many as 16 people, the sample used amounted to 16 people, sampling technique in this study is the random sampling. The research instrument used is power strike machine. Hypothesis testing using the two-sided equality test statistics approach. The results can be concluded that Bench press Exercise And Rubber Resistant Exercises have a significant effect on increasing the power capability, but rubber-resistant exercises are more influential than bench press exercises on increasing the power of the blow. This is based on the result of hypothesis test which states that the value of t distribution table (10,11)> = (2,14) on rubber resistance test and distribution value t (7,00)> = (2,14) at bench press exercise
