    Abstract

    Keluarga merupakan kelompok sosial pertama dan utama dalam perkembangan kepribadian. Tidak lengkapnya struktur keluarga karena perceraian ataupun kematian orang tua yang disebut sebagai physically broken home membuat fungsi keluarga menjadi tidak optimal dan berpengaruh pada perkembangan kepribadian. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui profil kepribadian siswa yang berlatar belakang keluarga physically broken home berdasarkan Edward Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS). Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dari tujuh SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung t.a 2014/2015 berjumlah 2.326 siswa dengan sampel penelitian 138 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah inventori kepribadian EPPS dan angket struktur keluarga. Hasil penelitian didapati jika (1) Siswa physically broken home memiliki kecenderungan kepribadian tinggi pada variabel Succorance dan Aggresion serta rendah pada variabel Intraception. (2) Siswa dari keluarga broken home karena perceraian kecenderungan kepribadiannya tinggi pada variabel Exhibition, Succorance, Heterosexuality dan Aggresion serta rendah pada variabel Achievement.(3) Siswa dari keluarga broken home karena kematian kecenderungan kepribadiannya tinggi pada variabel Achievement , Succorance dan Aggresion serta rendah pada variabel Intraception.(4) Perbedaan kecenderungan kepribadian siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dari keluarga Broken Home karena perceraian terdapat pada variabel Deference, Affiliation, dan Interception.(5) Perbedaan kecenderungan kepribadian siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dari keluarga Broken Home karena kematian terdapat pada variabel Heterosexual.(6) Perbedaan kecenderungan kepribadian pada siswa dari keluarga utuh, Broken Home karena perceraian dan Broken Home karena kematian terdapat pada variabel Achievement, Order, Exhibition, Autonomy, Interception, Succorance, dan Heterosexual. Hasil penelitian direkomendasikan bagi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, peneliti selanjutnya, dan pemerintah.---Family is considered the first and main social group within personality development. The imperfection of the family structure due to divorce or death of the parents which referred to as physically broken home makes the family function non-optimal and affect’s on personality development. The Research uses the descriptive method with quantitative approach. Research participant are students of class X from 7 different governmental high schools in Bandung with a total of 2.326 students with 138 research samples. The instrument used is EPPS and questionnaire. The results of the research found that (1)Students from physically broken home family has a high personality tendencies on Succorance and Aggression and low on Interception.(2)Students from broken home family by divorce has a high personality tendencies on Exhibition, Succorance, Heterosexuality dan Aggresion and low on Achievement.(3)Students from broken home family by death has a high personality tendencies on Achievement, Succorance and Aggresion and low on Intraception.(4)The differences in personality tendencies between boys and girls from from broken home family by divorce can be seen in the variable of Deference, Affiliation, and Interception.(5)The differences in personality tendencies between boys and girls from broken home family by death can be seen in the variable of Heterosexual.(6)The differences in personality tendencies in intact family, broken home family by divorce, and broken home family by death can be seen in the variable of Achievement, Order, Exhibition, Autonomy, Interception, Succorance, and Heterosexual. The study result is recommended for counselor, further research, and for the government.
