Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan prototype buku teks pelajaran berbasis intertekstual pada materi laju reaksi kimia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi 4 tahap. Tahap 1, pengumpulan informasi dan analisis kebutuhan dengan menganalisis representasi kimia, pada 3 buah buku SMA yang digunakan di kota Bandung, menganalisis KD pada Kurikulum 2013, dan menganalisis multiple representasi kimia pada 7 buah textbook kimia dasar. Tahap 2, perencanaan dengan mengembangkan multiple representasi kimia dan pembuatan outline. Tahap 3, pengembangan produk awal dan validasi. Tahap 4, uji coba produk pendahuluan dengan grafik Fry dan tes rumpang. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi instrumen kesesuaian dan kelayakan prototype buku teks pelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh pada tahap 1 menunjukkan bahwa masih kurangnya pertautan antara tiga level representasi pada 3 buah buku pelajaran kimia SMA kelas XI yang digunakan di kota Bandung. Selain itu, pada tahap 1 juga diperoleh 5 indikator yang sudah divalidasi dan 11 konsep yang dijabarkan melalui multiple representasi. Pada tahap 2 menghasilkan pertautan multiple representasi kimia yang digunakan pada prototype dan outline. Hasil penilaian validator menunjukkan bahwa produk prototype buku pelajaran yang dikembangkan sudah cukup memenuhi kriteria kelayakan buku teks pelajaran dengan beberapa perbaikan berdasarkan saran dari ahli. Hasil uji keterbacaan menggunakan Grafik Fry menunjukkan bahwa teks berada pada tingkat 11 sesuai dengan sasaran pembaca yaitu kelas XI. Uji rumpang menunjukkan bahwa produk prototype buku memiliki tingkat keterbacaan tinggi. -----The objective of this research is to develop intertextual based learning textbook prototype in rate of reaction topic. The method used is Research and Development (R & D). The step conducted in this research includes four steps. First step are collect the informations and needs analysis by analizing the chemical representation on three chemistry textbook in 2nd grade of Senior High School which used in Bandung, annalyzing the basic competencies on 2013’s Curriculum, and analyzing multiple representations on seven basic chemistry textbooks. The second step is planning by developing the chemical multiple representations. The third step are development of initial product and validations. The fourth step is initial product trials by Fry Graph and Cloze Test. The instruments used are compatibility and eligibility’s instruments of text book prototype. First step results shows that there is still a lack of intertextuality between the three levels representation on three chemistry textbook in 2nd grade of Senior High School which used in Bandung. Beside that, in the first step also obtained 5 indicators which has validated and 11 concepts which are presented by multiple representation. In the second step is generated the intertextuality of chemical representation which are used on the prototype. The validators assesment results showed that developed textbook prototype product developed is quite fulfilling the textbook eligibility criterias with some refinement based on expert advice. The result of readibility by using Fry Graph showed that the text is at level 11 in accordance with the target reader of the 11th grade. Cloze test showed that textbook prototype product has high readibility.
