    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berjudul Penempatan Modul Arduino Untuk Pembuatan Gamelan Digital. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kriteria pemilihan bahan baku dan proses pembuatan instrumen Gamelan Digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan informasi tentang pembuatan Gamelan Digital dan Pemanfaatan Modul Arduino sebagai Alat utama dalam memainkan Gamelan Digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian reserch and development. Melalui metode tersebut diperoleh data tentang kriteria pemilihan bahan baku dan proses pembuatan gamelan digital. Kriteria bahan baku yang digunakan meliputi jenis dan kualitas bahan, pemilihan bahan, ukuran yang diperlukan,serta kegunaannya dalam pembuatan gamelan digital. Data lainnya meliputi penggunaan kayu, komponen elektronika, software, dan sistem pemopgraman untuk memproses data analog menjadi digital. Proses pembuatan modul arduino beserta instrumen gamelan digital terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap studi pendahuluan, desain produk, validasi desain dam tahap evaluai. Data penelitian tersebut, selanjutnya peneliti bahas dari sisi kriteria pemeilihan material dan komponen, proses pembuatan instrumen gamelan digital dan, kualitas hasil hasil gamelan digital. ---This research entitled Arduino Module Placement for Digital Gamelan Making. Problems in this research that is criterion of raw material selection and process of making of Digital Gamelan instrument. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about the manufacture of Digital Gamelan and Arduino Module Utilization as the main tool in playing Digital Gamelan. This research uses reserch and development research method. Through this method obtained data about criteria of raw material selection and process of making digital gamelan. The criteria of raw materials used include the type and quality of materials, material selection, size required, and its usefulness in the manufacture of digital gamelan. Other data include the use of wood, electronic components, software, and pemopgraman system to process analog data into digital. The process of making arduino module and digital gamelan instrument consists of four stages: preliminary study stage, product design, design validation and evaluation stage. The research data, furthermore, researchers discussed from the criteria of material selection and components, the process of making digital gamelan instruments and, the quality of digital gamelan results.
