Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menggambarkan secara empirik kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik Kelas IX SMP Negeri 22 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 serta implikasinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel terdiri dari 370 orang. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecenderungan Kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal berada pada kategori sedang. Implikasi komunikasi interpersonal terhadap layanan BK berisi bimbingan klasikal untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dengan didasarkan keterbukaan, empati, perilaku suportif, perilaku positif dan kesamaan.---The background for this study is a phenomena of low interpersonal communication skills of students. The purpose of this research is to empirically describe the interpersonal communication skills of students of Class IX of SMPN 22 Bandung of academic year 2017/2018 and its implications. The research used quantitative approach with descriptive method. Population and sample consists of 370 people. Data obtained through questionnaires. The results showed the tendency Interpersonal communication skills are in the category of being. The implications of interpersonal communication to BK services contain classical guidance to improve interpersonal communication skills based on openness, empathy, supportive behavior, positive behavior and similarity.
