Abstract

Anak tunagrahita adalah anak yang memiliki hambatan dalam kecerdasan dan mengalami hambatan dalam perilaku adaptif. Subjek penelitian yang bersekolah di SLB-BC YPLAB Banjaran mengalami hambatan perilaku adaptif terutama pada pembelajaran kehidupan sehari-hari. Subjek memiliki hambatan dalam melakukan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-harinya yaitu pada keterampilan memakai pakaian terutama dalam memakai baju berkancing. Subjek membutuhkan suatu teknik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan subjek dalam memakai baju berkancing. Salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan adalah teknik task analysis. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan teknik Task Analysis dalam peningkatan kemampuan memakai baju berkancing anak tunagrahita ringan kelas IV di SLB-BC YPLAB Banjaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research dengan desain A-B-A. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kinerja menggunakan instrumen tes. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif untuk ditampilkan melalui grafik garis sederhana. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 17 sesi yang terbagi ke dalam tiga kondisi yaitu kondisi baseline-1 (A-1), kondisi intervensi (B), dan kondisi baseline-2 (A-2). Hasil analisis data menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan subjek dalam memakai baju berkancing yang dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya mean level pada setiap kondisi, yaitu pada kondisi baseline-1 (A-1) sebesar 38,46%, kemudian pada kondisi intervensi (B) sebesar 59%, dan pada kondisi baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 88,46%. Dengan demikian penggunaan teknik task analysis mampu meningkatkan kemampuan memakai baju berkancing pada anak tunagrahita ringan. Sehingga penggunaan teknik task analysis ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam mengajarkan anak tunagrahita dalam memakai baju berkancing atau program pengembangan diri yang lain.-----Children with intellectual disability is children who experienced an adaptive behavior. The research subject is SLB-BC YPLAB Banjaran student who experienced an adaptive behavior obstacle especially in their daily life learning. The obstacle of the subject has an effect in how well they doing their daily activity and that is happen when the subject has to wear a shirt with buttons. Subject needs certain techniques to improve the ability of the subject in wearing a shirt with buttons. One of those techniques that can be used is task analysis technique. Therefore, the aim of this research is to knowing implementation of Task Analysis technique in improving the subject’s ability to wear a shirt with buttons of children with mild intellectual disabilities on fourth grade in SLB-BC YPLAB Banjaran. The researcher is using Single Subject Research as the method with A-B-A as its design. Data were collected from performance test using the test instrument. Then the available data were analyzed using statistic descriptive analysis to be presented through simple line graph. This research was conducted in 17 sessions that were classified into three conditions, they are baseline-1 (A-1), intervention (B) and baseline-2 (A-2). The result of the data analysis shows that there is an improvement in subject’s ability in wearing shirt with buttons that can be proved with the improvement of mean level in each of the conditions, 38,46% in the baseline-1 (A-1) condition, 59% in intervention condition and 88,46% in baseline-2 (A-2) condition. With that in mind, the use of task analysis technique is able improve in wearing a shirt with buttons of children with mild intellectual disabilities. So, implementation task analysis technique can be used as an alternative in teaching children with intellectual disability in wearing a shirt with buttons or other self-development programs.
