Abstract

Penerapan e-learning di lingkungan perguruan tinggi telah dilakukan oleh Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sejak tahun 2014, dalam bentuk website bernama SPOT UPI yaitu Sistem Pembelajaran Online Terpadu merupakan aplikasi e-learning dalam konteks ‘Learning Management System” yang didesain untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran dengan modus jarak jauh, mandiri dan fleksibel. Walaupun sistem ini sudah berjalan cukup lama, namun belum terdapatnya penelitian khusus mengenai evaluasi penggunaan SPOT UPI untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan sistem ini. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan SPOT UPI di lingkungan FPTK UPI. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode focused quality yang merupakan metode untuk menerapkan peningkatan mutu secara terarah, untuk mencapai sasaran yang ditetapkan dengan beberapa strategi yang dibuat lebih spesifik dan terfokus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah para pengguna SPOT UPI yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa di FPTK UPI. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu terdapat evaluasi dari setiap proses kunci atau faktor pendukung kelancaran penggunaan SPOT UPI, dengan beberapa saran perbaikan yang disertakan dalam kolom prioritas dan strategi perbaikan. Perbaikan terhadap faktor-faktor tersebut akan sangat mempengaruhi kualitas dan kelancaran dalam penggunaan SPOT UPI.----The implementation of e-learning has been carried out by UPI in 2014, in the form of a website called SPOT UPI or Integrated Online Learning System is the application of e-learning in the context of ' Learning Management System "designed to facilitate learning by distance mode, independent and flexible. Although this system has been running for a long time, but there is no specific research about evaluation of the use of SPOT UPI to know the effectiveness of the use of this system. The main purpose of this research was to evaluate the use of SPOT UPI at FPTK UPI. The research was conducted by using Focused quality method which is a method for applying increased quality in directional, to achieve the targets set with some of the strategies that made more specific and focused. The sample of this research is SPOT UPI user, that is lecturers and students in FPTK UPI. From this research we can get the conclusion that there is some evaluation of each key process or support factor of the use of SPOT UPI with some improvement suggestion in priority column and improvement strategy. The improvements to these factors will greatly affect the quality and fluency in SPOT UPI usage.
