Abstract

The purpose of this study to obtain a picture of the effect of playing the piano that can improve the finger function of students Class III Blind Student SDLB Negeri A Bandung. The fine motor that will be developed in this research is on the strength of the fingers of the NFA hand, so the NFA can perform daily activities such as wearing shoes, socks, feeding with a spoon, and holding pens. The research method used is single subject research (SSR) with A-B-A research design. Data collection techniques through action tests using percentages for aspects of strength and accuracy. The results show that playing the piano can improve the fine motor skills of learners. This is seen in NFAs that have started to wear socks although still little with the help of teachers. Based on the results obtained from this study, researchers recommend to teachers to be able to take advantage of piano or tools available in schools other than playing mosaics, playdogs, squeezing paper in improving the ability of finger function of learners one of them through playing the piano---- Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh memainkan piano yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan fungsi jari-jari peserta didik Tunanetra kelas III SDLB Negeri A Kota Bandung. Motorik halus yang akan di kembangkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pada kekuatan jari jemari tangan NFA, sehingga NFA dapat melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari seperti memakai sepatu, kaus kaki, makan dengan menggunakan sendok, dan memegang pen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah single subject research (SSR) dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes perbuatan menggunakan presentase untuk aspek kekuatan dan ketepatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memainkan piano dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat pada NFA yang sudah mulai dapat memakai kaus kaki walaupun masih sedikit dengan bantuan guru. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, peneliti merekomendasikan kepada guru untuk dapat lebih memanfaatkan piano atau alat yang ada di sekolah selain bermain mozaik, playdog, meremas kertas dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motor ik peserta didik salah satunya melalui memainkan piano
