Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status identitas vokasional dengan prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 352 mahasiswa yang telah melewati tahun awal perkuliahan di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dan dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner menggunakan kuesioner status identitas vokasional yang telah disusun sebelumnya oleh Surayya (2016) dan prestasi belajar dilihat dari data IPK mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan. Hasil pengujian statistik dengan teknik korelasi kontingensi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang cukup antara status identitas vokasional dengan prestasi belajar, menggunakan chi-square (χ²) tabel dengan taraf signifikansi α 0,05 dan derajat kepercayaan df = 6 menghasilkan nilai χ²tabel sebesar 12.592. Sehingga nilai χ²hitung lebih besar dari χ²tabel (103,125 > 12,592). Rekomendasi bagi para mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan mencapai status identitas vokasional terbaik yaitu status identitas achievement.;---This research aim to understand the relationship between vocational identity with learning achievement on collage students. This research used quantitative approach and correlation method. The subject used on this research consist of 352 college student. who have passed first years in the Faculty of Education, Indonesia University of Education, and were chosen through random sampling method. The data were collected by using vocational identity status questionnaire which had been developed previously by Surayya (2016) and learning achievement collect from student IPK. The result of the statistical tests using contingency correlation techniques indicates that there’s a correlation between vocational identity status and learning achievement using chi-square (χ²) tabel with significance level α 0,05 and df = 6 producing χ²tabel = 12.592. As a result χ²hitung bigger than χ²tabel (103,125 > 12,592).
